My Hero Academia Chapter 297 release date news

As the My Hero Academia manga series takes a week-long hiatus, fans will have to wait for what happens next. The final chapter 297 would have shed more light on what happened to Pro Heroes and the League of Villains after the melee. Until it’s officially released, fans are speculating on what will happen next.

What happened in chapter 296?

In the final chapter, we see the heroes, villains and civilians of the city dealing with what is left after the battle. Anyone who survived on the front lines joined together to stop Shigaraki from escaping. The Near High-Ends are ordered to distract the heroes, three of them being defeated.

Shigaraki escaped with a few civilians, however. On the other hand, the heroes apprehend Gigantomachia and Mr. Compress. At Villa de la Montagne Gunga, Trumpet, Reten and other members of the Paranormal Liberation Front are arrested. The heroes managed to capture 16,929 individuals, 132 of whom fled after the attack on Gigantomachia. PLF supporters were also in detention for questioning.

The chapter then highlights the current state of mind of civilians as well as heroes in the midst of destruction. As they absorb the situation, some heroes find it too much to bear, making them think about leaving. Kirishima, Yaomomo and Mina mourn the death of their comrade Midnight. The chapter also explains how Shigaraki was resurrected.

Chapter 297 Release Date and Forecast

While Chapter 296 focuses on the destruction and death of Midnight and other heroes, Chapter 297 might focus on the heroes who were injured but still made it out alive. It could also explain the death of Gran Torino. We also got to see heroes leave, including Ochako Uraraka. It could also answer rumors if she is in fact Himiko Toga.

Twitter user Atsushi posted a preview of the new chapter with a tweet, “The worst is not over yet!” What could be worse? Is All For One making a comeback?
