Crunchyroll officially announced that they will be broadcasting the series in all of its distribution territories. The subbed version will be available at the same time in Japan and will be followed by a dubbed version at a later date. Funimation also confirmed that they will air the series to its subscribers in the same way.

Animenewsnetwork has reported that the season will consist of two courses with the first to premiere in January 2021. The second course will be screened later in July 2021 and will also be preceded by an adaptation of the spin-off manga “The Slime Diaries: That Time. I Got Reincarnated as a Slime “which will debut in April 2021. All these updates come after an unexpected delay due to COVID 19 due to being scheduled to premiere three months earlier.
