While Kaido is surely going to be taken down at the end of this arc, Big Mom will definitely survive as her character arc will not end till Elbaph.
Luffy does respond to it positively and it could even lead to the involvement of the Marines in Wano. Drake’s dialogue in this chapter also indicates the same.
There’s also the question of who the 1% guy is with many speculating that it could be Drake or Luffy or even Law who is theorized to die to save Luffy in this arc.
Atop the dome we see the minks battling Jack. Nekomamushi and Inuarashi, in their Sulong forms, are taking on Jack and it will undoubtedly be an awesome battle especially if it’s not off screened.
It’s also doubtful if the minks will retain their Sulong forms till the beat Kaido.
Drake ran and he paused for a moment to see introspect if he should return to the marines; Drake’s reaction meant the marines arrived and surrounded the waters around Onigashima; the Arrival of marines might make things worse in Onigashima; Luffy might help Drake and save him from the Queen and Who’s Who.
In this desperate situation, Drake reached out to Luffy to let him help in defeating the Beast Pirates.
Knowing Luffy, he will be able to sense the good intentions emanating from Drake and will let him join the rebellion forces.
While this is not a major help to the rebellion, they need every last bit of power they can to take down the Beast Pirates.
