According to a leak, Dead Island 2 will be released this year

Recent leaks reveal that the long-awaited Dead Island 2, initially announced back in 2014, will be released in 2022, according to a report from Polygon. There were swarms of zombies on Banoi’s lovely blood-soaked island in the original Dead Island, created by Dying Light developer Techland and published in 2011.

Since the start of production on Dead Island 2, the game has gone through three distinct developers before Dambuster Studios took over in 2019. Before Techland’s Dying Light series, Dead Island was a game where players had to escape a zombie outbreak while still engaging in open-world exploring. A group of gamers may battle the undead together in the game’s cooperative mode, which has four survivors to pick from.

Combat is supplemented by a variety of weapons, each with its own unique attributes and modifications, that are created at random. To make things even more horrifying, certain zombies have unique skills that may appear out of nowhere. Dead Island 2 was first unveiled in 2014, but the survival horror sequel has been beset by several issues since then.

It was revealed that the Dead Island 2 teaser shown at E3 in 2021 was a scam. According to Pocket-lint, Tom Henderson, an industry insider and YouTuber, has released Dead Island 2 information. A tropical zombie survival sequel is currently in a steady level of production, according to a new video from Henderson. Henderson predicts that the game will be released in the fourth quarter of 2022.

A zombie outbreak in mid-air causes the player character’s plane to crash in Hollywood, according to the leaked storey details for Dead Island 2. Even though many fans are anxiously expecting the release of Dead Island 2, some gamers have already had a chance to play an early version of the game. After a playable build of Dead Island 2 leaked online in June 2020, players were able to get their hands on a raw version of the game.

Even while the leaked prototype was devoid of storey material and had numerous placeholder assets, it offered a sneak peek at what players may expect from Dead Island 2 when it launches. The survival horror sequel Dead Island 2 has been stalled in development for many years and is now dead. The game’s developer, Tom Henderson, says it might return to the public as early as the end of 2022. Only time will tell if Dead Island fans will be able to return before the end of the year, as these are only speculations.
