Senju’s past comes to light in the latest Tokyo Revengers chapter, and it’s a scary one. Mikey’s “dark urges” appear to date back to his childhood.
Tokyo Revengers – Chapter 241
A particular plastic model of an aeroplane was owned by Mikey when he, Haruchiyo, Senju, and Baji were all in elementary school. As for Baji, Senju, and Haruchiyo, Mikey doesn’t want them messing about with his stuff. Takeomi chastised Haruchiyo for using the masculine pronoun “I” when she asked Senju whether she wanted a plastic model of the plane. A decent role model for his younger sister is his responsibility, he explains.
A single father and a busy schedule meant that the Akashi family was often at their grandmother’s house, where Takeomi served as a father figure for the Akashi children. Haruchiyo was still friendly to Takeomi, despite the fact that he had chastised her. Haruchiyo, on the other hand, finally became tired of Takeomi berating her for what Senju had done. When no one was home, Senju played with Mikey’s aeroplane.
The toy was broken when she stumbled over it while running around with it. When Mikey enquired as to who was responsible for the damage to his plastic plane, Senju said that Haruchiyo was. Baji’s screams can be heard afterwards. When she hurried outdoors, she found Haruchiyo’s lips ripped open, Mikey’s hands covered in blood, and Baji lying on the floor covered in blood. On that day, Senju says Takemichi, Mikey had the same expression that he had in War of Three Deities.
Haruchiyo laughs after Mikey instructs him to do so. Senju is blaming herself for what happened to her and her family. She’s aware that something must be done, but she’s certain that it’s too late to do anything about it. He reassures her that it’s not over yet. He reassures Senju that things can still go their way.
