Given how smoothly things have gone for the Pro Heroes, many readers anticipate a saddening turn of events in subsequent issues. As of now, there is no way for fans to validate this until reliable spoiler material for My Hero Academia chapter 385 becomes available. But at least fans know when to expect the highly anticipated new issue, and spoilers should start appearing within the next several days.
Review of Chapter 384
In the opening moments of My Hero Academia chapter 384, Gigantomachia, who was still in Shinso’s power, threw a mountain towards All For One. With a shock, however, the villain was able to break Shinso’s hold on Machia, and the giant eventually came to see the genuine All For One. Machia then inquired as to the reason for his master’s abandonment, to which Hawks responded that this was not the result of Shinso’s brainwashing. A brief flashback of their separation was revealed, and Machia appeared to mourn at the memory.
Afterwards, Shinso spoke on how Machia, like Midoriya, resisted his Quirk. The situation evolved when it became clear that the gigantic beast was battling All For One by his own choice. Several reporters, many of whom are acquainted with Midoriya or the Pro Heroes, rushed to the area as they learned of the crisis. As the viewership of the Gentle Criminal livestream grows, they agree that it is their responsibility to inform the public. Many film characters are canonized near the conclusion of the chapter, and they are all revealed to be keeping tabs on the situation in Japan.

New Leaks for Chapter 385
Horikoshi never elaborated on that to any great extent, at least outside of the UA, but I expect to see it return since Mt. Lady really needs assistance; she is very constrained, given that all she can do truly become huge, and both she and Tokoyami are sweating bullets. The two of them then launch a second onslaught. We also see Hawks apologizing to the group for being so ineffectual, despite the fact that Tokoyami claims that it is Hawks’ assistance alone that is responsible for Dark Shadow Balr’s strength. Suddenly, Mt. Lady is attacked from behind, landing on her stomach. Everyone yells Mt. Lady’s name as she crashes to the ground, and then we see that Machia has been hit by a laser beam, causing him to collapse and begin bleeding. We then cut to All For One, where he is also badly hurt but making rapid progress toward recovery; he warns the heroes that their odds of victory increase as he gets younger. After being hit by an American bomb, All For One now has no skin and no legs, making him seem even worse than Shigaraki. So that’s pretty crazy, I guess he looks even worse than what we saw before, like Shigaraki pretty much looking like a corpse taking on after getting hit by the missiles, but they do have a similar sort of Quirks here, so it’s understandable that All For One can come back from this or just exist in that state.
Additionally, we see that Machia had a sudden face in that state, as we saw in the previous chapter. I’m not certain if it’s completely a face, but I’m pretty sure that at the end of the series, he will be turned against All For One because he believes that All For One abandoned him, which is true, but it was a really abrupt change, and regardless, he is still attacking him here. Outside of the Big, Shigaraki, All For One, and Izuku, Machia is the most resilient character, yet even he is no match for the lasers. Even though I can’t see him, I’m guessing this is akin to the laser or whatever energy manipulation quirk he was using against Nana in the All Might rising prelude because of the recent, more youthful design of the pages.
Aiming the Laser at Only One
Unfortunately for the Dark Shadow, All For One fire another laser-like strike later in the chapter, fully destroying it. All For One launches simultaneous strikes on Hawk and Tokoyami; Hawks rushes in to save his friend, taking most of the blow for himself in the process.
All For One is pleased with his own strength after witnessing the effectiveness of his attacks and comments, “It is truly fantastic to be young again, and he is loving it.” So yeah, All For One is replaying, as we saw when we used Yujiko’s experimental airy derivative thing; he is presently like a teenager, but it is really difficult to determine; he is not at the time of life that he was before for sure; and I assume even at this age, he is just superpower full; I don’t know if this is his prime, but I assume it is close to it. Inasa then orders everyone to keep assaulting him, despite the fact that he knows it is pointless, and we see that both Kirishima and Shinsou are worried about them. Following then, there’s a dark panel, and then we see that All For One has vanquished the heroes and is clutching Hawks by the neck as Tokoyami is senseless at his feet.
So, yeah, everyone is pretty much defeated; I’m not even sure if Dark Shadow can be killed; I guess you’d have to completely remove Tokoyami’s Quirk factor; but speaking of which, All For One says he wants to steal Tokoyami’s quirk, which is why Hawks should get out of the way; he’s already done too much. When the Hawks went for broke, it was with their quirk. Later, we see that Hawks manages to stab All For One in the breast with his sword, but the wound has no discernible effect, as All For One continues to claim, “Tiny wings develop on my back.” My guess is that this suggests Al For One has already copied Hawks’ signature style. Even though we haven’t seen the actual page or panels yet, it seems like he got stabbed so that One For All could get near enough to kill him.
If that’s the case, Hawks are officially quirkless from this point on, and All For One will have a far easier time getting into UA thanks to the fact that he can steal Hawks’ quirk, develop wings, and then fly there almost unhindered. I think this is a suitable fate for Hawks, I believe it is supposed to follow the Icarus things, although of course, I would prefer he just loses his quirk than dies. Hawks has always seemed like he was going to go quirkless or something, or at least just lose his wings totally. In the following chapter, we learn that All For One compliment Hawks on his tenacity in the face of diminishing quirk factor. Hawks then says that it is really unjust to notice that the quantity of his eccentricities remains constant despite the fact that his physical body is rewinding.
Victory for Mineta
At the moment when it appears as if everyone has lost, a Mineta ball appears out of nowhere and adheres to All For One’s thigh, telling him that taking black shadow will just make him an edgy oddball like Tokoyami and that he should steal his own Pop Off Quirk instead. As All For One looks into Mineta’s tearful eyes, he is reminded of Jirou, another helpless individual. I suppose this is Mineta’s final showdown; at this point, I wouldn’t be shocked if he plays a significant role in All For One’s demise. Later in the chapter, All For One decides that he has already wasted enough time there and takes off immediately. When in the air, he mocks the heroes by stating that they will be able to relive this moment thanks to the news chopper hovering nearby.
