Even after using Smokescreen, Deku couldn’t stay ahead of his other students for long. He begged them to leave him alone, explaining that he didn’t want his pals injured. They reminded Deku how important he was to them and how he was always there for them. While Deku didn’t want to be left alone, he also didn’t want his friends to get in the way of his fight against All For One. No one tried to reason with him, so the pursuit continued. Afterwards, he exploited the explosion to get away from everyone, but Lida and his companions eventually found him. As he mentioned that the ultimate hero was someone who helped others without being asked, Lida brought up his earlier comments. Eventually, Deku gave up and they collapsed on the floor.
Since he was afraid for his friends’ safety, he kept trying to keep them at a distance. Then Bakugo came up to him and said he was sorry for the way he had treated him before and told him his worries about how they were caring for him as a group. In return, Deku expressed regret to his companions before collapsing. The next thing he knew, he was outside of U.A. High with all of his pals. The irate crowd of bystanders saw that Deku was heading for the academy and demanded that he turn around because they didn’t want to become Shigaraki’s next victims. Before he could go, however, Uraraka intervened.

Yet his buddies are so obstinate that they’ve decided to fight for him nevertheless. A brief preview video titled “A Young Woman’s Statement” was also published for the forthcoming episode, suggesting that there is a meeting taking place in the school about the topic.
