Fans of the Dr Stone anime have been waiting patiently for the third season, and it will finally launch on April 6, 2023. The first look at the thrilling adventures that await the protagonists in the third season of Dr Stone: New World can now be seen in the series’ official trailer. Update: Crunchyroll has announced that the subtitled version of Dr Stone: New World will premiere on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 7:30 AM PDT, a day earlier than the original announcement’s “April 2023” date. The English dub of the anime is scheduled to air on the same day, April 20, 2023, at 12:30 PM PDT, following soon after. German, French, Brazilian Portuguese, Castilian Spanish, and Italian dubs will also be available for the animation. Nevertheless, we have yet to hear of any concrete publication dates for these translations.
The manga series Dr Stone was written by Riichiro Inagaki and drawn by Mu-jik Park, a South Korean artist who is well renowned for his works Suk-Ken Rock and Origin, from which the anime adaptation was adapted. Dr Stone’s last season concluded on July 25, 2021, and on July 10, 2022, a one-off episode titled “Dr Stone: Ryusui” premiered. Speculation about the next season and what will happen next has fans giddy. The Age of Exploration arc of The Origin of Petrification Saga was covered in the most recent season. Some of these were reworked for the one-off programme. The third season of Dr Stone will wrap up the Source of Petrification Saga, which contains two arcs: the unfinished Age of Exploration Arc and the Treasure Island Arc. In total, the programme will adapt 38 chapters from Treasure Island and episodes 89–100 from the Age of Exploration Arc.
