When Asta slays the Five-Headed Dragon in the previous chapter of Black Clover, the citizens of the Hano Kingdom celebrated by throwing a party. Asta will soon face off against Lucius Zogratis, the ruler of magic, therefore he must prepare alongside Ryuzen Seven. Because the spoilers won’t be disclosed until next week, all we can do is speculate that the forthcoming chapter will centre around Asta’s training.
Recap of Chapter 353
Once the Five-Headed Dragon was vanquished, the skies cleared, and the inhabitants of The Land of Sun appeared overjoyed. Overcast skies have plagued Ghoshu and the surrounding islands ever since the arrival of the Five-Headed Dragon. Ryuya expressed gratitude to Asta for restoring visibility to the sky. Although Heath Grice was presumed dead after his attack on the town of Saussy, Asta’s observation of him laying on the floor raised some eyebrows. When asked why Ryuya cited Lily’s justification of Lucius’s might. As a result of witnessing Lucius’s might, Asta became frightened and begged Ryu to let him return to the Clover Kingdom. Black Bulls were planning his return, Ryu said, but in the meantime, he needed rest. One night, we stumbled across Ryuya, Asta, and the rest of Ryuzen Seven enjoying themselves in a club. As Humito was eager to try the Dragon’s flesh, they bargained about how much its skin would cost. They eventually praised Asta by claiming that he was an international hero. Sister Lily is doing OK, assuringly reported Humito to Asta, who also noted that Ryu had once again demonstrated his ability to see the big picture.
Ryu remained silent as Ichika joined the scene and questioned whether she or her brother had destroyed their clan. Afterwards, she told Asta she was sorry she had been so harsh with him. Asta was taken aback by Ichika’s unexpected politeness, and he expressed his delight at her admission. Asta was perplexed by Komari’s introduction of the Ochaami Doll. Afterwards, Komari revealed that Ochaami was the ancient goddess of food who prevented hunger from striking the Land of the Sun. A flaming Yojutsu girl from Asta’s nation was what Yosuga asked him to introduce him to. Once Asta began to feel nervous at the mere mention of Mereo, Daizaemon accompanied him to a hot spring to relax. Asta jumped into the water as Daizaemon went back for his towel, but he didn’t see Ichika waiting for him. A scarlet flush spread across Asta and Ichiga’s faces, and Asta began to worry that Ichiga would be the one to kill him. Daizaemon began laughing and said he forgot it was the women’s turn to swim, at which point Asta took off running. Asta apologised to Ichika for the previous evening when they ran into each other the next day. As the chapter came to a close, Ryuzen Seven urged Asta to make the most of the remaining three days of training.
