While the Straw Hat sharpshooter prepares for a long-range assault on Vegapunk Shaka, the S-Snake Seraphim continues to transform innocent bystanders into stone statues. Even with the lack of context, the first spoilers for Chapter 1077 are among the most thrilling and interesting in recent memory. There is little question that in the next few days, fans will witness a ground-breaking chapter come to light as additional information becomes accessible from reliable sources. Considering the events in Chapter 1077 of One Piece, it appears like the Straw Hats will be staying on Egghead Island for quite some time.

The issue is named “You Should Have Realized That Sooner” in the spoilers. Fans may soon find out the identity of the Vegapunk traitor since the title clearly alludes to them. This distinction between the two has also been emphasised in recent cover articles. From the outset, spoilers reveal that Zoro has learned the Seraphim possess powers akin to those of the King of the Beast Pirates. It’s evident that the Seraphim have inherited certain Lunarian traits from King, who is himself a Lunarian. Their tanned bodies, white hair, and black wings all attest to this.
Initial spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1077 suggest that Vegapunk Lilith uses the Bubble Gun (from earlier issues) to defeat S-Snake Seraphim. But she gets away, and in the process, she turns Usopp to stone. This choice was probably chosen by author and illustrator Eiichiro Oda to provide the Straw Hats with an excuse to remain on Egghead Island until Kizaru and his troops arrive. This means that Usopp can be safely sent back to Earth at some point in the future. The chapter supposedly concludes with “someone” shooting Vegapunk Shaka in the head, which “explodes,” according to the earliest spoilers. The attacker’s name will probably not be exposed in this problem given the usage of the word “someone” to identify them. According to the rumoured title, this will be disclosed soon. After a week off, One Piece is finally back with chapter 1077. According to the latest leaks, however, the next issue will come out on March 9, 2023, and chapter 1078 will be issued on March 16, 2023. This rumoured shift in the release date should, however, be taken with a grain of salt for the time being, as official sources have not verified it.
So, now what?
The earliest teasers for One Piece Chapter 1077 are obviously laying the groundwork for greater disclosures by withholding certain details. For instance, given Oda’s writing approach, the reader may expect to see the assailant’s silhouette in the issue before the shot is fired. The supposed title of this issue implies that the hints and pieces are there, as they always are, provided fans are ready and able to put them together. Perhaps the problem will help identify the traitor. Because the chapter is supposedly near its official publication date, the early spoilers may not be addressing their identity.
As more spoilers and raw scans are expected within days of the official release, this may also suggest that leakers are opting to hold off on doing any further spoilers until after the official release. Zoro’s discovery that the Seraphim share some of King’s powers hints that the next issue will have a larger number of Seraphim models for Luffy, Lucci, and Kaku to battle. Since that S-Bear and S-Hawk are not likely to have returned for a rematch, the quartet has likely moved on to save Nami’s party and the other search parties.
