[Updated] One Piece Chapter 1080 Preview, Full Storyline, Synopsis, Recap & Much More

Leaked Updates for Chapter 1080

On Monday, April 3, 2023, unusually early spoilers for One Piece chapter 1080 were made available online. First leaks reveal that the series will be taking another week off, which is disappointing given that the most recent chapter has been hailed as the “greatest chapter ever” among Monkey D. Garp followers. Although Garp is not expected to be the main focus for very long, this is nonetheless a fascinating glimpse into his life right now. Many major Blackbeard Pirates characters are expected to appear in One Piece chapter 1080, as hinted at by the chief series leaker Redon before the original spoiler release. Although just one has been verified through the revelation of early teasers, fans are confident that other intriguing cameos are being hinted at.

In the next episode of One Piece, Garp will continue his mission to rescue Koby by going to Blackbeard’s mansion. First and foremost, it has been revealed that the events of One Piece chapter 1080 take place on Hachinosu Island. Not stated explicitly, but likely given different viewpoints are usually highlighted or hinted at in the original spoilers is that this is the only location of the most recent issue. As of the publication of this article, however, there is no evidence to support or refute this. The next part of the spoiler claims that “Garp comes and uses a massive attack,” which is most likely an Armament Haki technique. Although Garp may have some type of Conqueror’s Haki, this has not yet been verified as of the writing of this article. This strongly suggests that Armament Haki is not being used in the attack.

Then, early One Piece chapter 1080 spoilers suggest that Kuzan, the former Admiral Aokiji, makes an appearance. Considering his confirmed attendance, perhaps we shall learn his actual loyalties at long last. As of the writing of this page, it is unknown whether or not he is indeed a member of SWORD, despite widespread speculation to that effect. Some exciting and heartbreaking news for fans has been withheld. The former is said to have the “greatest chapter ever for Garp fans,” while the latter is set to take a hiatus the following week. While this is certainly unfortunate, readers may be certain that the complete Chapter 1080 will more than makeup for the two consecutive weeks of delay.

Similarly, considering the present status of the series, it seems probable that chapter 1081 will be more than a suitable successor to chapter 1080. Having established who isn’t making the trip to Egghead Island in chapter 1080, the next issue will return to the island and uncover who, if anybody, is making the journey. Fans should anticipate even more shocking revelations in the coming editions. Because the Egghead Island storyline appears to be winding down, the following twelve releases will likely feature a plethora of battles, discoveries, and surprises. Unfortunately, Eiichiro Oda has had two weeks of vacation in a row, but I’m sure he’ll make up for it shortly.

New Spoilers for Chapter 1080

On Tuesday, April 4, 2023, a purported complete synopsis of the next One Piece chapter 1080 was leaked online, providing readers with a sneak peek at the highly anticipated next chapter. Many new Devil Fruits, including what appears to be an Awakened Fruit, are revealed in the spoilers, including ones from the Blackbeard Pirates and the SWORD gang. In addition to providing an update on Koby, Chapter 1080 of One Piece also addresses some previously unresolved storylines. That’s why Blackbeard had Koby caught in the first place. The issue may only be 17 pages long, but despite its seeming brevity, it packs a ton of interesting content into those pages. Chapter 1080 of One Piece provides new information about Perona and Gecko Moria while shifting the spotlight to Koby and SWORD.

Shocking reveals ahead!

The spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1080 by Redon start with the cover, which fulfils a fan request and features Hiyori and Kawamatsu folding origami. The magazine then dives into its plot properly, which transports readers to the island of Hachinosu. Here, many pirates are seen contemplating a jailbreak, and the next issue depicts Koby and his fellow escapees making their way to safety. Perona, as shown in a flashback, discovered Koby in jail and offered to free him in exchange for his assistance in locating Gecko Moria. Before losing to Monkey D. Luffy, Gecko Moria was the commander of the pirate ship Perona and a member of the Shichibukai. Moria isn’t seen in this issue since his cell is located further within the jail complex. Koby agrees to Perona’s plan and aids in the freeing of further inmates. Then, in Chapter 1080 of One Piece, a ragtag band of pirates in Hachinosu is shown attempting to kidnap Koby for the Cross Guild. The Cross Guild has placed a five-star bounty on Koby’s head, which entitles the finder to a reward of one hundred million Beri in five treasure boxes. In other words, the value of a Cross Guild one-star reward is one hundred million Beri.

According to the issue, the standard bounty for a Marine Captain in the Cross Guild is just 1 star, but Koby’s bounty is significantly larger than normal because he bears the title of “hero.” As a decoy for the captives, Koby is now on the run from other pirates. From their skull castle in the island’s middle, Blackbeard’s pirates observe the action below. In Chapter 1080 of One Piece, the identities of Avalo Pizarro, Vasco Shot, San Juan Wolf, and Shiryu are revealed to be these members. The new Devil Fruits they’ve developed are also exposed. Named after their distinct functions, these fruits are the Island-Island Fruit, the Liquor-Liquor Fruit, and the Enlarge-Enlarge Fruit. Prior to Absalom’s death, the Thriller Bark Pirates (Moria’s crew) learned that Shiryu had taken the Clear-Clear Fruit. With the help of Pizarro’s Fruit, it appears that he is able to become one with the floor and walls of the skull stronghold, allowing it to move and speak freely with no interference from Pizarro. This application suggests that the Island-Island Fruit functions similarly to Pica’s Stone-Stone Fruit, although with more generic materials and the ability to command a whole island.

Spoilers for Chapter 1080 of One Piece reveal Vasco Shot remarking that he intends to burn the town while riding a wine bubble he created with his Devil Fruit. Even though the Enlarge-Enlarge Fruit was identified as San Juan Wolf’s Devil Fruit, it was not seen in action because the character was said to be sleeping through the problem. Just the four of them are left on the island, with Shiryu and Pizarro guarding the Skull Fortress. The issue opens with a flashback conversation between Koby and Blackbeard, in which Blackbeard reveals that he seized Koby as a bargaining chip to make Hachinosu an official World Government island. Blackbeard hopes to be crowned ruler of the island in Chapter 1080 of One Piece. Koby, however, explains why he is of little value in discussions as a member of SWORD. Kuzan, formerly Admiral Aokiji, responds by clarifying that SWORD consists of Marines who have formally retired and “returned their codes.” The upside is that they may now assault Yonko without waiting for orders from above or the consent of the World Government. As they are no longer considered Marines, SWORD members have no guarantee that their former compatriots would come to their aid in an emergency.

Blackbeard, despite this, is certain that he can pressure and bargain with the World Government using Koby’s “hero” label. After a brief flashback, One Piece Chapter 1080 brings readers back to the current day on Hachinosu Island, where SWORD has arrived and is attacking the island while introducing some of its new members. It’s the first time that fans meet Commander Hibari. Chapter 1061 features her appearance alongside Helmeppo as they appeal for assistance in saving Koby. She is a sniper who employs the “GP Flower” bullets developed by Dr Vegapunk, which transform the enemy’s gunpowder into beautiful blooms. Whether the leaker Redon means “flower” or “flour” is unclear, though the latter is more plausible. In Chapter 1080 of One Piece, we meet Rear Admiral Kuchaku, the granddaughter of Vice Admiral Tsuru and a user of the Whip-Whip Fruit. The whole synopsis reveals that she has complete control over whatever object she whips, including entire cities. In Chapter 1061, we first see Kuchaku beside Prince Grus.

Then, in Chapter 1061 (in-story) and Chapter 966 (cover story), the aforementioned Vice Admiral Prince Grus made his debut. Grus consumes the Clay-Clay Fruit and gains the ability to shape golems out of the material. His ability to transform the corpses of his fellow SWORD members into clay suggests that his Devil Fruit is of the Awakened Paramecia variety. The other unknown SWORD members from Chapter 1061 are said to make an appearance in this issue, according to the complete summary spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1080. During the battle, Grus supposedly uses the Devil Fruit to turn them into golems. Kuchaku, meanwhile, uses her Devil Fruit powers to corral the pirates in the centre of the island. Then, as the Thousand Sunny did after deploying the Coup de Burst, Vice Admiral Monkey D. Garp’s ship appears in the sky and begins to fly. Garp is seen with Helmeppo and Tashigi on board before he leaps off and crashes into the island’s centre. The entire village is wiped out by his Galaxy Impact strike, which translates to “Fist Bone Impact” in English. After attacking, Garp asks the pirates if they recognize who they’ve taken, naming Koby the “future of the Marines” and his own “loving apprentice” as One Piece Chapter 1080 comes to a close. Regrettably, next week’s series hiatus is also announced in this issue.

One Piece Chapter 1080 Predictions and Spoilers

Shanks attacked the Kid Pirates and sank Eustass Kid’s ship, killing everyone on board. Is this their final chapter in One Piece, or is there a plot twist that will allow them to return? Since the Child Pirates play such an important part in One Piece, we expect to see them again in the future. With everything they’ve gone through, Shanks’ Kamusari won’t be the last straw. At least, I certainly hope so. On Egghead Island, however, are the Blackbeard Pirates. In this anarchy, what part will they play? Will they run across Luffy and the gang while searching for Dr Vegapunk, or are they just chasing him themselves? But, readers should expect more updates until the debut of One Piece Chapter 1080! Oh no! Eustass Kid and his crew of Kid Pirates were soundly defeated by Shanks and the Red-Haired Pirates. Have the Child Pirates finally disbanded?

Recap of Chapter 1079

The Red-Haired Pirates: An Emperor’s Crew is the name of Chapter 1079 of One Piece, which has a cover request depicting Luffy watering a lion instead of a sunflower. This chapter picks up a few hours before when York betrayed Luffy and the others on Egghead Island and the seraphims attacked. York rounded together the seraphs and broke the news to them that the World Government isn’t only looking for Dr Vegapunk’s primary body; they want to kill her, too. Thankfully, York had a contingency plan ready in case the global government turned on her. York’s plan was for the seraphim to wipe off everyone on the island save for herself, Dr Vegapunk, the subterranean hostages, and their guards. She had hoped to eradicate the island’s vermin with the help of the seraphim. York ordered S-Snake to terrorize her in front of everyone, then let her go when no one was looking to avoid suspicion. Upon dismissing S-Snake, she warned that she needed to be careful not to wreck the lab.

A Blackbeard ship can be spotted coming into port while the chaos on Egghead Island continues. Elsewhere in Elbaf, Shanks’s dedicated followers—Captain Padded-Toe-Gerotini of the Puddle Pirates, Head of the Social Club Pirates Grave-Tooth-Fugar, and Princess Panicky Pururu of the Bourgeoisie Pirates—work tirelessly to irritate and scare Eustass Kid and his crew into leaving. Killer cautioned Kid not to relax his guard because the pirates were accompanied by some big names, but Kid assured him that he would not let him down. To everyone’s surprise, Shanks ordered the pirate leaders to tell Kid that he wanted all ships to evacuate, and the pirates swore they wouldn’t let Kid touch him in return. Even though Shanks was just passing through, he had lost track of time and needed the other pirates to move their ships out of the way so he could pass.

But then the Kid Pirates turned up, and Shanks had to deal with them. All the other pirates start making fun of the Child Pirates, saying that Shanks has to deal with them because their fleet is so terrible. They assured Shanks that the only person he has to worry about is Grandmother Ori, commonly known as Father Time. Lucky Roux agreed with the pirates, but Shanks warned that the Child Pirates—especially their leader, who now has a $3 billion price tag on his head—were not to be taken lightly. Because Kid did not have enough time to rest and heal on Wano, Shanks is particularly worried about him. Yasopp assured Shanks it was okay to get involved because Child seemed active and eager to fight. When Shanks asked Hongo about Blackbeard, he said that he had last seen the famous pirate departing Pirate Island. Even though Hongo expected to see Blackbeard in Wano, they managed to get some information about Eustass Child.
Shanks looked through Kid’s background and learned that he hails from South Blue and has engaged in a great deal of criminal activity to reach this point. In contrast, Eustass Kid readies his railgun to release Damned Punk on Shanks’ fleet, despite the fact that the latter possesses nine ships and a number of familiar faces from the prize posters.

The kid is positive that he could wipe out Shanks’ fleet in under ten seconds using Damned Fleet. Shanks got worried and gave the order for the ships to manoeuvre out of the way. He also suggested that in their stead Dorry and Broggy step in. The Kid Pirates were caught off guard as Shanks came at them, having anticipated the devastating damage Kid’s strike would cause to his fleet. As Child and Killer tried to intervene, Shanks suddenly used Divine Departure (Kamusari), killing both of them. The rest of the crew begs Shanks not to shoot Kid as he lies comatose on the floor, putting up their own Lode Poneglyphs as collateral. Dorry and Broggy’s combined onslaught, Hakoku Sovereignty, destroys the Victoria Punk, but Shanks, surprisingly, ignores them and leaps away from the ship. The events of that day in Elbaf are recounted in One Piece Chapter 1079, with the assertion that the Child Pirates, commanded by Eustass, a person worth three billion, were completely exterminated.

New Updates for Chapter 1080

After a series break, next week will see the publication of One Piece chapter 1080, and in anticipation, fans have been debating the significance of previous events. The events of chapter 1079, which was published on March 26, 2023, naturally dominate the conversation. Many things happened in this issue that will be major plot points in One Piece chapter 1080 and beyond, notably the impending arrival of the Blackbeard Pirates in Egghead. Fans, however, are still buzzing over the shockingly predictable resolution to the battle between Shanks and Eustass Child on Elbaf. Fans are convinced that Shanks is the most powerful character in the series after he one-shot Kid in their fight. This assertion may be challenged, however, by a mainly unseen factor.

Fans who are fixated on Shanks will have to look back to the past as the Egghead Island narrative progresses in One Piece Chapter 1080.
With the information available as of One Piece Chapter 1080, it’s hard (if not impossible) to argue against Shanks’ claim to be the strongest character in the series. His background and upbringing in a pirate milieu, in addition to his well-documented achievements and skills, make him impossible to overlook. Gol D. Roger, the former King of Pirates, trained Shanks, who is now a Yonko in the series. An Admiral was scared off of Wano by a ranged application of His Conqueror’s Haki, so powerful is it. Moreover, canonical series materials state that he is a negator of Observation Haki and has some of the strongest Observation Haki.

When you consider all of this alongside his latest one-shot of Eustass Child of the Worst Generation, it’s obvious that Shanks possesses tremendous power. Based on what readers know as of One Piece Chapter 1080, he’s possibly the strongest character in the series, if not the strongest. Many viewers, however, suspect that there is another character in the show that can hold their own against Shanks. The mysterious Im-sama, about whom followers know precious little. Due to Gorosei’s submission to Im-sama during the Reverie arc, he is now widely regarded as the de facto head of the World Government.

Nevertheless, as of Chapter 1080 of One Piece, viewers have only witnessed a single form of aggressive usage of Im-abilities. sama’s It’s also unclear if this is the result of their abilities, those of the Devil Fruit, or the employment of an external weapon. Nonetheless, readers of Chapter 1060 know that Im-sama can wipe out whole islands. Fans generally agree that Im-sama was employing the sky-battleship Pluton in this instance, but as of the publication of this article, there is no way to verify this. Nevertheless, unless Im-sama was extraordinarily strong, weapons or not, it is exceedingly doubtful that he could hold control over the World Government, superseding even the Gorosei in authority.

Hence, as of One Piece Chapter 1080, it’s still possible that Im-sama may utilise the strike that destroyed the Lulucia Kingdom without resorting to any additional weapons. If this turns out to be true, it would cast serious doubt on Shanks’ position as the series’ most formidable protagonist. Similarly, it’s possible that fans haven’t seen all of the talents and abilities that Shanks has yet. This would call for a more thorough comparison of the two, and may even let Shanks maintain his status as the show’s strongest character after Im-true sama’s strength is revealed. Too little is known about Im-sama as of One Piece Chapter 1080 to make this a valid argument against Shanks winning the tournament. Based on the available evidence, it’s safe to say that Shanks is the show’s most formidable protagonist (for now).
