Synopsis and Raw Scans for My Hero Academia Chapter 384

In the first part of Chapter 384 of My Hero Academia, titled “It’s a tiny world,” Machia is still under Shinso’s brainwashing and is actively working against the premier All For One. Tokiyami wonders aloud if Shinso was brainwashed into fighting with Machia and Mt. Lady, who are currently smashing down the aforementioned evil. Hawks confirms this to be the case, saying they have placed their wager and must now safeguard their investment. All For One, upon seeing Machia’s subjugation, remarks that this is how the heroes were able to fool him with the Aoyama family, and expresses amazement that the heroes would do what he would do.

Everyone is on edge because they don’t want the manipulation of Shinso’s quirk to go awry, but Machia still seems to be able to talk his will through, while being brainwashed. Machia claims he can smell his master All For One even if they appear different and demands to know why the villain left him. The heroes are confused since Machia claims that his master would return for him, but Shinso explains that Machia is the only other person who has been able to overcome his brainwashing and that Machia will continue to target All For One because he abandoned him. The heroes of My Hero Academia Chapter 384 fight All For One with Machia, and Shinsho remarks that his quirk makes him appear like a villain, but that his quirk has no power over what’s going on within someone’s heart.

This Is a Little Place

The last half of My Hero Academia Chapter 384 depicts the reporters carrying out their mission to convince the world that Japan’s heroes have not given up. A few reporters on board one of the helicopters had run across Deku before and are now willing to risk their lives to tell the world about his transformation. A female journalist who had previously made false accusations against the heroes appears shortly in another chopper, explaining that she has come to tell the tale of the heroes who are still battling and making a stand against the monster. The reporter says that the world is becoming more interconnected and smaller every day, therefore they want to film this hopeful event and broadcast it throughout the globe.

Released on Manga Plus and Viz Media on Monday, April 3 at midnight JST, Chapter 384 of My Hero Academia is currently available for free preview and reading.

About the 384th Chapter

Kohei Horikoshi’s plan to have Deku become the greatest hero in the world through storytelling in My Hero Academia Chapter 384 is what makes him the best hero in the world, not just in his own country. As Deku is a Japanese civilian battling to protect his country’s population, it’s understandable that fans were first suspicious of him being the greatest hero in the world. Nevertheless, the last conflict in the series proved that All For One is a worldwide menace by vanquishing “Stars,” one of the world’s mightiest heroes.

A possible justification for the villain’s location in Japan, the home of the quirk, is that All For One’s ultimate objective was to achieve One For All. Nonetheless, the state of Japan after the last war was seen across the world because of the accessibility of information and communication technologies, leading many to believe that Japan no longer exists. Despite their dwindling resources, the people of Japan are determined to prove to the world that they will not give up the battle.
