Recap of Chapter 383
Chapter 383 of My Hero Academia is titled “Meek Spirits,” and features Mina Ashido (Pinky) on the cover. Shortly after the news of Shoto Todoroki’s defeat of Dabi spread, the chapter opens in the Jaku Hospital Ruins outside of Gigantomachia’s prison facility. The bad guys are attacking the good guys, utilizing the full might of their unique talents to float through the air and throw off the heroes’ senses. Even worse, the bad guys are broadcasting All For One’s voice via a high-frequency sound transmitter they built themselves. With this, Machia’s Canine Quirk will pick up on the frequency of All For One’s utterances, allowing them to penetrate Gigantomachia’s confinement despite the thickness of the walls. Knowing that Giantomachia could not possibly awaken, Mt. Lady refused to allow it to occur. She tries to stop them with a gigantified wrench supplied by Rule, but Gigantomachia escapes the facility and smashes into her before she can do anything.
The timing is perfect, Kirishima thinks, for Shinso to indoctrinate Machia. They were able to successfully accomplish the escort job and warp Shinso into the ruins, where he has been hiding from the bad guys.
Yet, Kirishima reports that the villains have found their sophisticated scheme after spotting the sludge villain’s leech on Shinso’s flesh.
It turns out that the sludge villain just pretended to battle before fleeing, but in doing so he stumbled upon Shinso, who would be much easier to manage than Bakugo. One of the Liberation Soldiers says that the weak will always be trampled since that is the way the world is. The soldier also makes the observation that even if they are able to determine right from wrong, the whims of the strong will always be upheld. In his haste to see his master, the newly awakened Gigantomachia loses control, and Kirishima charges into the mud villain. Despite Mt. Lady’s best efforts, Machia is able to escape his grasp. Now, Ashido is using her quirk, “Maximum Output: Acidman-Alma,” to unleash an attack on Gigantomachia that is strong enough to eat through Machia’s hide. Furthermore, Ashido betrayed the sludge villain and expelled him from Shinso’s system. Kirishima was taken aback when she mixed her acid with the Sludge Villain and turned his unique power into a weakness.
Ashido, understandably, wants to employ Bakugo’s and Todoroki’s training methods to safeguard the people she cares about most. Ashido also yells that she knows how terrifying things can get when she’s weak, and that’s why she wants Gigantomachia at her side, just as it was meant not only for the heroes but also for the criminals. The Liberation Soldier, however, is convinced that Ashido’s screams will never reach Machia and stop his fury even if they are extremely loud. To his relief, Shinso can finally fulfil Kirishima’s request. Then, Shinso had the heroes work together to swat down any flying villains. Shinso replicated All for One’s vocals by listening to the Tartarus CDs and playing along with his own guitar chords. Shinso’s final resort in neutralizing Machia’s sound broadcast is to agree on a single answer with them. Ashido uses up all of her quirk energy and becomes dehydrated; Kirishima comes to her rescue. Kirishima says he’s sorry for being worthless again, and Ashido says they’re equal. The heroes must now detain Machia and the other villains and get them ready for transportation. All For One was regenerating, and Mt. Lady got the news that they needed their help to stop him from going to Shigaraki before they could take any action. Now, with their last shred of hope, Naomasa is putting all they’ve got into one last gamble against the bad guys. In the final moments of My Hero Academia Chapter 383, the heroes (and Machia) unleash their full power onto All For One while incoming choppers loom in the background.

My Hero Academia Chapter 384 Predictions and Spoilers
Mt. Lady, Ashido, Shinso, and Kirishima put forth extra effort to finish the last chapter. They succeed in defeating Machia and using him as an asset in their war against All For One. Will this be insufficient to take him down? All For One may have another plan in his sleeve to repeatedly foil the heroes so he may finish his objective and head to Shigaraki to fix the mess he’s left there. Kohei Horikoshi’s effort to have all of the heroes participate in the final combat is admirable, even if the battle itself is chaotic. Although Kohei Horikoshi makes a conscious attempt to incorporate the other heroes in the final arc, we tend to forget about them until the very end. Still, we hope to see more returning heroes in pivotal roles and with more responsibility in the upcoming chapters!
