A Preview of What to Anticipate (speculative)
As the previous episode’s climax centred on Child and Law, the conflict between them and Big Mom is likely to be the main focus of One Piece Episode 1055. This made the most dramatic sense, considering Kid’s recent victory over Basil Hawkins had set him up to fight at full strength. It’s possible, though, that Sanji vs. the queen and Zoro vs. the king will get just as much, if not more, attention. This makes sense as well, as it would depict the demise of the Headliners of Kaido’s crew before the defeat of a Yonko, and so go from the lowest-ranked opponents to the highest. In One Piece Episode 1055, Luffy and Kaido will likely get a few seconds of screen time to remind viewers that their battle is still going on in the background. Viewers may expect the two to remain evenly matched for the foreseeable future, with neither gaining an edge until the show is ready to focus only on them.
On March 26, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. JST, the next episode of One Piece, number 1055, will premiere. The Killer vs. Basil Hawkins fight finally wrapped up last week, and now the attention of fans has shifted to the other key disputes. The only question that remains is whether the anime will focus on Sanji’s conflict with the Queen, Zoro’s with the King, Law and Kid’s with Big Mom, or Luffy’s with Kaido. There are currently no spoilers available for One Piece Episode 1055, thus it is unknown which battle will be the centrepiece of the anime. Fans, however, now know when to expect the much-anticipated episode to air. While we wait for the publication of One Piece Episode 1055, we’ll break down what we know about the episode so far and offer our best guesses about what we may expect.

A Review of Episode 1054
Episode 1054 of One Piece resumed the conflict between Killer and Hawkins, with Hawkins now keeping Child as a prisoner. Hawkins injured Child without Killer even having to assault him by repeatedly pounding his head against a pillar, thereby forcing Killer’s hand.
The scene then shifted to Law and Child taking on Big Mom, who looked to be temporarily incapacitated. In an effort to take advantage of the situation, Big Mom attacked him, but Law was there to defend himself. When Child was wondering why he was getting hurt so easily, Prometheus sneak attacked Law. The focus of the episode returned to Killer and Hawkins. Killer soon figured out that since Kid didn’t have a left arm, he could hit Hawkins’ arm and the harm would be transferred to Hawkins. The fact that the episode ends with Kid reporting that he feels “lighter and more alive” confirms that this strategy was essential in his eventual victory over Hawkins.
