As Lucius Zogratis, the king of magic, returned in the previous chapter, this one focuses on Yuno’s battle to defeat him and protect the Clover Kingdom. Yuno’s duty becomes much more difficult when he discovers hundreds of angels battling alongside Lucius. Spoilers for the upcoming Black Clover 355 chapter have been released, indicating that Yuno succeeds in her mission to preserve the Clover Kingdom. In Chapter 355 of Black Clover, Yuno uses Star Magic to thwart Lucius’s enormous strike all by himself. It is revealed in advance of Black Clover chapter 355 that Yuno has replaced his previous captain as leader of the Golden Dawn due to his superior combat skills. Yuno and Lucius will have it out in the next chapters in an effort to counter Lucius’s massive spell. Jack is hurt and Yami is concerned about him in the next chapter of Black Clover. In this chapter, William also shows up and goes after Lucius, saying that he owes his position to Julius and would do whatever to stop Lucius. But Lucius tells William that he is not his opponent, and William’s body starts to deteriorate as soon as he touches the Time Magic spell. Black Clover 355’s editor’s note implies that Yuno is working to perfect his character and become the strongest, suggesting that he will continue to mature and change.
Review of Chapter 354, “Black Clover”
Black Clover’s newest chapter, “The Prince of Stars,” finds Yami grieving over what seems to be Jack’s death until the arrival of William Vengeance, captain of the Golden Dawn. William performs a spell that causes his body to rot to assault Lucius Zogratis, who has taken over Julius’s body. Afterwards, Lucius casts a massive magic involving angelic creatures in order to launch a deadly assault on the people of the Clover Kingdom. But then Yuno shows up and breaks the enchantment using Star Magic, which amazes both Yami and William.
At the end of the chapter, William recognizes Yuno’s growth and promotes him to the captain of the Golden Dawn, a rank that is higher than his own. Lucius’s authority and influence grow as a result of the events of the preceding chapter, which continue to play out. But, the appearance of Yuno with his extraordinary magical skills gives the people of the Clover Kingdom reason to hope. Ultimately, the events of “The Prince of Stars” chapter set the stage for an epic confrontation between the forces of good and evil, with Yuno now assuming the lead in the resistance against the Zogratis family’s malicious schemes.
