The trailer for episode 293 of Boruto, titled “Freedom,” featured the protagonist’s lifeless body. Despite the studio’s reluctance to release details about the forthcoming episode, the show’s gloomy promotional art hints that it will be emotionally intense, delving into the profound impact his death would have on his loved ones. In episode 293 of Boruto, we’ll learn how the team plans to handle Kawaki so that he doesn’t become evil. It is also unclear how Code would maintain his commitment to Eida while still giving a sacrifice to the Sacred Tree. Don’t worry though, since the series’ main character will be back for Part 2.
A short synopsis of Boruto 292
Momoshiki fought Code in Boruto’s body in the previous episode. To grow the Divine Tree, Momoshiki need a sacrifice, and Code informed him that Kawaki is that sacrifice. Code ducked behind Kawaki for protection as he sensed an oncoming onslaught. Then Momoshiki blasted him with a compressed Rasengan, rendering his attack worthless. Kawaki and Momoshiki got into an altercation. Kawaki’s arm would have been severed if not for the timely intervention of Naruto and Shikamaru. Even when Shikamaru had Momoshiki under control, Code’s interference allowed the Otsutsuki to launch an attack on Naruto. Kawaki activated his Karma and soaked up Momoshiki’s huge Rasengan that he was ready to unleash on Naruto.
Amado has repaired Kawaki’s arm by rebuilding his Karma. Afterwards, Kawaki assured Naruto he would do all necessary to thwart Momoshiki. He would have slain the Otsutsuki if the Hokage hadn’t stepped in. After a fight between Naruto and Kawaki, Boruto recovered control of his body. When Kawaki asked if he still remembered the vow they’d made, the young Uzumaki said he did and made up his mind to start keeping it right immediately. It was Boruto who pushed Naruto away with his Wind Release technique. Afterwards, Kawaki struck Boruto with the killing blow. Boruto’s death was seen after the program concluded.
