The Synopsis of Episode 290 of Boruto
At the beginning of episode 290, Boruto and Kawaki are playing cards with several pals when Boruto becomes annoyed at the sense that he is being observed. Inojin then goes on to detail the functions of the Konoha’s sense organs. Kawaki is shown listening intently as Inojin explains that the sensory unit would not pick him up if his chakra were deleted. Shikamaru then turns to Amado and asks him why Code hasn’t invaded Konoha yet before the movie switches to another discussion between the two. Code’s desire to assault Konoha is also something he hopes would alter, and once Amado explains why Code wants to do so, he wishes Code will do so.
Sometime later, Kawaki sneaks out of the Uzumaki house to take out the garbage, but he’s overheard making plans to flee the hamlet. By removing the man’s chakra, he creates a shadow copy and uses it to fool the sensory person into thinking he is the real thing. He fails, however, to conceal his true nature from Boruto, who detects a problem and takes appropriate action. Seeing that Kawaki is leaving the village, Boruto alerts Naruto and then sets out to find him. Meanwhile, Eida uses her Senrigan to keep an eye on the situation and alerts Code, who decides to tail Kawaki. Code catches up with him in the end, but as he and Kawaki are ready to depart, Boruto knocks Code out of his claw marks.
Kawaki and Boruto get into an argument regarding the former’s departure. In response, our blond hero strikes Kawaki in the face and declares that it is his duty to look out for Kawaki. Afterwards, the episode concludes with Boruto preparing to confront Code by channelling his Karma. As the plot thickens, the quality of the animation and storyline in Boruto episode 291 may make an indelible impact on the Naruto canon. Episode 292 of Boruto has a lot more material to work with, thus it may end up being a stronger episode than episode 291. Thus, viewers will have to wait until the following week, when the episode airs at 5:30 pm JST on Sunday, March 12.
What can we hope to see in the next Episode?
Episode 291 of Boruto will have Boruto assisting Kawaki in their battle against Code. Code is interested in Boruto in the preview since he is Momoshiki’s vessel. On the other side, Boruto is convinced that they cannot escape Code and that they must confront him head-on.
In episode 291 of Boruto, Boruto and Code had a brutal battle. The latter will then seek a demonstration of Momoshiki’s skills, explaining that Karma provides far more than just enhanced speed and strength. The situation will heat up as Boruto begins to use the full potential of his Karma. Meanwhile, in Boruto 291 in Leaf Village, Naruto and the gang find out that Kawaki hasn’t been there, so they send Nishi beyond the village’s bounds to look for him and Boruto.
Review of Boruto 290
Boruto and Kawaki’s frustration at being monitored by Nishi the sensor was on full display in the previous episode. Kawaki criticised the former for showing minimal concern about being seen. Amado and Shikamaru were overheard talking, with the former accusing the latter of plotting something extravagant. Amado, though, admitted that the rapid succession of events had caught him off guard as well. Kawaki hid his chakra and created a shadow doppelganger to trick the sensor into thinking he was only taking out the garbage one night. By the time Boruto noticed anything was amiss, he had already departed the hamlet. The two got into a little skirmish outside after Code tracked him down with Eida’s help. Thereafter, Kawaki tried to negotiate by offering to give up his life to ensure Leaf Village’s protection. Code, however, was too preoccupied with his current goal of growing the Divine Tree and eating the Chakra Fruit to worry about such trifling issues.
Release time for Boruto 291: Control is Sunday, March 12, 2023, at 5:30 pm JST. The episode will air on TV TOKYO and Crunchyroll, Funimation, Hulu, and VRV in Japan, as well as on platforms throughout the world. The newest episode revealed the terrifying future ambitions of Code and how Kawaki first met. Since Boruto’s arrival, tensions have increased, and the upcoming episode might feature a brawl. Even the animation quality was much higher than normal, and that trend should continue in the next episode.
