The relevant clue is a GIF depicting a scene from the critically acclaimed 2017 horror/thriller Get Out. Protagonist Chris Washington (played by Daniel Kaluuya) may be seen sobbing and gazing into the camera with a stunned face, an immensely renowned scene from the movie. This clue appears to focus on how Redon feels about the events of the issue rather than offering any hints as to what those events could be. There’s absolutely no way to take this suggestion in a way that gives logical judgement on the issue’s developments. Hence, readers anticipated a dramatic turn of events in the next chapter.
The next teaser for One Piece Chapter 1077 was shared on Twitter by Redon on Monday, March 6, 2023, at around 6 am EST. The indication in the issue is a GIF that displays blood splattering, a moment that looks to be from the iconic 1987 film Hellraiser. But, the Hellraiser scenario likely adds little commentary to the problem beyond what is already included in the suggestion. To that end, the most straightforward reading of this clue is that someone will be killed or severely injured in the events of the next issue. With the Seraphim running rampant all across Egghead Island, this is hardly a stunning or unexpected turn of events. On the other hand, some fans have speculated that this may be a hint of Lucci and Kaku betraying Luffy and Zoro, catching them off guard and dealing them with some extremely lethal blows.
At around 7 AM EST on March 6, a GIF from the popular sports anime series Haikyuu!! was shared on Twitter as the third hint for One Piece Chapter 1077. The animated GIF in question depicts the majority of the Karasuno volleyball squad wearing signs of anger. While other background characters are depicted to be joyous, wrath is likely the major indication here. This might be Redon’s commentary or a genuine clue about what will happen in this issue, so it’s not quite clear what it means. In the case of the former, it is most likely merely another commentary on the previous hypothesis of a character dying or being gravely hurt. Contrarily, this indication might be interpreted in a variety of ways about the second scenario.
In this Animation, you can see six members of the Karasuno squad. It’s possible that this is symbolic of the other six Vegapunks discovering the traitor and venting their frustration at having been wronged by a member of their own group. The GIF shows a range of emotions, which is consistent with the range of emotions displayed by the Straw Hats in response to learning that Luffy and Zoro released Lucci and Kaku. The fourth piece of information for One Piece Chapter 1077 is a Sonic the Hedgehog-related GIF. It’s unclear from which game this GIF was taken, but it clearly shows Sonic destroying a box and then leaping out of it. The box looks to contain a type of fruit, however, it’s impossible to identify exactly which fruit this is.
A character eating a devil fruit in One Piece Chapter 1077 is the only explanation for this GIF, which is somewhat hard to accept. This Fruit might be genuine, given that we’re on Egghead Island, or it could be a synthetic imitation created by Dr Vegapunk.
