The Concluding Chapter of Attack on Titan
Part 2 of the last season of Attack on Titan featured Eren Yeager’s “betrayal” of the Survey Corps in favour of the takeover of the reigning government of Paradis by the Jaegerists. In response, Eren took on the form of the Founding Titan, triggering the Wall Titans and setting off The Rumbling. While he means well in trying to shield his friends from harm, they take offence at his actions and label him a “betrayer.” The Rumbling is about to begin, and with it the Wall Titans will crush the rest of the world, reducing it to a barren wasteland and wiping off nearly all of its inhabitants.
When the Rumbling threatened to spread beyond Paradis’ borders, viewers witnessed Armin Arlert, Mikasa Ackerman, Levi Ackerman, and the rest of the Survey Corps fight to stop it. But they failed, so they had to pursue Eren and The Rumbling to try to stop it. Hence, in the previous episode’s last minutes, the Survey Corps decided to do whatever it took to stop Eren and The Rumbling, despite the fact that The Rumbling was really beneficial to them. Despite having suffered at the hands of the Marleyans as Eldians, Gabby Braun, Falco Grice, and Annie Leonhart all elected to join the Survey Corps in order to safeguard their home country of Marley.
Typical Events (speculative)
Season 3 of Attack on Titan will centre on the aforementioned group’s futile attempts to stop The Rumbling. Nonetheless, the organisation is unlikely to let the absence of resources prevent them from doing what they can to end the cycle of violence and hatred. As a result, viewers of Attack on Titan season 3 should anticipate the group’s struggles to stop Eren. The situation is so bad that some casualties are practically guaranteed. While it’s based on reality, hearing that the only characters remaining living are the ones the audience loves or hates is nevertheless disturbing to fans. The specific content of each one-hour special is one of the biggest unknowns about the forthcoming episode. In spite of this, fans may be certain that the soon-to-air first special will conclude on a big cliffhanger because no official release date has been set for the second part.
