Chapter 1066: A Review
As the Dice Dice fruit is used by the seraphim S-Hawk in his attacks, Luffy and Zoro discuss releasing Kaku and Rob Lucci from Cipher Pol 0. In spite of Zoro’s strong opposition, Luffy takes the initiative to release Kaku and Lucci. To keep Kaku and Lucci from going after Luffy’s crew mates or the Vegapunks after they’ve defeated all four seraphim, Luffy threatens them. Even if he is entrusted with killing all of Dr Vegapunk’s satellites, Lucci agrees that he will murder Luffy first. A battle broke out, and it was up to Luffy, Zoro, Kaku, and Lucci to put an end to the seraphims with their combined might. Nevertheless, Dr Vegapunk and the other Cipher Pol operatives who had been holed up in the lab emerged from hiding. Two months without food has left the agents on Egghead Island demanding answers from Dr Vegapunk, who has no idea who they are.
Dr Vegapunk knows this can only end badly and worries that the global government may have found out they were studying poneglyphs on the island. Almost a hundred maritime vessels, according to sources at the time, were en route from branch G-9 to Egghead Island.
In the meantime, Shanks and the Red-Hair Pirates are at a nearby port, chugging rum with Dorry and Brogy of the Giant Warrior Pirates.
A member of Shanks’ crew showed there to report that the Child Pirates had launched an attack. The Red Hair and the Child Pirates have both been spotted in Elbaf. Rockstar was told by Shanks to tell Eustass Child that they must give over the Road Poneglyph or else they will have to fight. Killer makes a joke about Kid’s amputated limb right before the story closes, much to Kid’s displeasure. He also warns that if they encounter the Red Hair pirates again, Kid might not make it. But Kid reassured Killer that he need not worry, as he is confident he can defeat Shanks.
