About Chapter 352 of Black Clover
This chapter may appear inconsequential at first, providing us with some background on Yasuga and Ryuya. But, I believe that it foreshadows several crucial events that we must not miss. We can only imagine how much worse the situation will be with Lucius, who wants to obtain control of all the magic in the world if this dragon is creating too much power for Asta to be able to take down with Anti-Magic, as I said previously. Asta will require additional resources to secure victory in the decisive conflict. The Rinnegan, also known as the Tengentsu, might be the key. It was revealed in this chapter that one must first relinquish all magical abilities and accept that they will be magic-free in the future in order to harness the power of Tengentsu. Asta doesn’t have any magical abilities, so he wouldn’t have to give them up to absorb Tengentsu’s might, which is a fortunate turn of events.

Brief Review of Chapter 351 of Black Clover
It’s plausible that Black Clover is taking Asta in a route comparable to the frequent literary cliche of selling one’s soul to the devil in exchange for material gain. Although this chapter has already given us a huge hint as to what Asta’s ultimate power-up will be, a power that will turn Asta into a Dark God, a god of destruction, it is possible that Asta will have to sell his soul or another integral part of himself in order to gain the strength to save everyone by bringing Lucius down. Asta is seen here seeking to fulfil his pledge to Sister Lily. In order to beat Lucius, Asta must first fight the Five-Headed Dragon. With his anti-magic Zetten, Asta can sever all five of the dragon’s heads with a single stroke, which is amazing in and of itself. Even though Asta is effortlessly severing the Dragon’s head, the head instantly just recovers itself after his strike. Since Asta can’t sever the head any faster than the Dragon can renew it, this development might have dire ramifications for Asta as the ultimate confrontation against Lucius approaches.
While Asta’s antimagic is doing significant damage to the dragon, the beast possesses so much magic that it can regenerate faster than Asta can destroy it. While Asta will undoubtedly find a method to destroy the dragon (most likely through some serious collaboration), this might be a big portent concerning Asta’s greatest weakness when facing Lucius. Lucius’s ultimate goal is to unite all forms of magic within himself and then take over the world, therefore he plans to merge blood, soul, bone, and flesh magic within himself first. It follows that Lucius is the only one with enough magic to counter Asta’s formidable antimagic. A God Mode Lucius will be able to recover just as quickly as the dragon, meaning Asta will have a hard time taking him down. Asta has encountered many different kinds of magic from many different kinds of magicians, but Antimagic has always managed to triumph against them all. Yes! Even with his current abilities and his newfound mastery of Zetten, Asta won’t be able to defeat Lucius at this time, at least in his current state. Asta often relies on teammates & allies to help him out, but in the end, antimagic usually gets the job done. Do I not mean to imply that Lucius will triumph against Asta in the end? Obviously not; Black Clover is a Shonen, and Shonen conventions are strictly adhered to. So what I’m saying is that even though he’s recently completed a training arc, Asta still isn’t powerful enough to face God Mod Lucius without undergoing another power-up.
To vanquish a God, one must first attain Godhood, and Asta has not yet achieved this. What would Asta’s potential new ability be? And why Rinnegan, exactly? The story then shifts to the conflict between Paladin Heath & Yosuga, the strongest of the Ryuzen Seven; I’ll go back to that in a moment. Heath is using a massive spell to conjure a forest of icicles with sharp points to impale Yosuga. Without his Paladin Power, Heath would be unable of launching such a vast attack, but he is determined to succeed because he believes in Lucius and his mission to create a new, virtuous world. I can’t say for sure if Heath is indoctrinated like Sister Lily or whether he’s simply naturally insane. But, given what we know about Heath’s life before he became a Paladin, it wouldn’t surprise me in the least if he was already a zealot before he was recruited. Yosuga seemed unfazed as he effortlessly dove out of the way of Heath’s blows. As Heath tells him that’s all he has, Yosuga asks with a sneer on his face. A brief flashback occurs when Yosuga declares that he would kill the Paladin for the Shogun. This flashback not only tells us more about Yosuga and Ryuya, but it also explains the truth about Ryuya’s Tengentsu and why he has no magical abilities.
In their youth, Yosuga and Ryuya were known as the most formidable warriors in the Hino Nation, and they were destined to rule over their own islands. And the two of you, Koshu and Goshu. When they were young adults, the two of them engaged in healthy competition and would often spar with one another to improve their physical fitness. Only between them could a genuine challenge be found. Seeing as no one else would be in a position to adequately assess their abilities or compel them to develop, it seems to reason that they would practise together. Eventually, when Yosuga was around 17 years old, a terrible epidemic swept through both Koshu and Goshu islands, killing many people. Individuals who had little or no magical strength were especially susceptible, whereas those with a great deal of magical strength were far more resilient. A fabled force called Tengentsu, not the Rinnegan was the last hope of saving humanity from this terrible pandemic. Only the two strongest people in the land, Ryuya and Yosuga, possessed the magic power to earn the Tengentsu, an all-seeing eye that would allow Hino to battle the epidemic by seeking the elusive cure. But, there is a cost to acquiring this legendary skill.
Those who accept the Tengentsu sacrifice all of their magical abilities and become effectively powerless from that point on. Without the Tengentsu, they will be powerless, Yosuga had always desired to be the strongest, and he cherished his existing position and prestige, so when he learned about the price of the Tengentsu, he wanted nothing to do with it. Since he wasn’t in immediate danger, he saw no need to sacrifice his life by giving up his magical abilities to shield the helpless. Ryuya, unlike Yosuga, didn’t think twice about giving up his magic ability in exchange for the Tengentsu so that he might aid the weak and put a stop to the disease as quickly as possible. When Yosuga gave up his authority, many people, including Yosuga himself, believed he was mad. Later, however, Yosuga understood that he had been acting selfishly. Yosuga always believed that to become Shogun, you had to be the strongest fighter, but thanks to Ryuya2, he realised that the one who should be Shogun is the one who cares about the people and has the support of the people. Well, he was focused on his own power and on getting stronger, while Ryuya was focused on helping others, & because of that, the people loved and willingly followed him.
Hence, when it came time to choose the new Shogun, Yosuga backed his comrade Ryuya and ultimately joined the Ryuzen Seven. Present-day Heath is baffled that he hasn’t been able to defeat Yosuga despite Yosuga’s relentless attacks, but that’s only the beginning of his woes. Yosuga then exposes the ultimate nature of his magic, Iron Magic or Iron Yojutsu, and his entire body changes to Iron, transforming him into an Iron Soldier. He then effortlessly smashes through Heath and uses his Zetten to utterly destroy Paladin, declaring that he is the strongest there is. We already know how effective Anti-Magic is because of Asta’s victory over a Paladin with it, but Yosuga’s ability to destroy a Paladin so simply is remarkable, and his Iron Soldier form is both cool and evidently incredibly strong. Yosuga will, without a doubt, play a significant part in the decisive battle against Lucius. Now that the Paladins have been destroyed, the only remaining threat in the Hino Nation is the five-headed dragons. Upon speaking to his Ryuzen, Ryuya reveals that he has been keeping close tabs on their battles, mental processes, and overall efforts. And he claims they can’t possibly lose. The moment has come for them to band together and slay the five-headed dragon. Everyone, boosted by Ryuya’s words and the abundance of Ryuzen, gets ready to battle alongside Asta, and the chapter ends on a high note.
