Episode 289 of Boruto: What to expect, and more guesses
Reportedly titled “Qualifications,” Episode 289 of Boruto. In the sneak peek, we see Kawaki telling Amado and Sumire about a nightmare he had regarding Code. Kawaki has a recurring dream in which he is confronted by Code about being selected as Isshiki’s vessel when they were both children. This sequence is taken from the manga. The teaser then includes Amado’s assertion that Kawaki, despite his lost soul, will continue to serve as Isshiki’s vessel. Furthermore, Code and Eida seem to be having a conversation. Nonetheless, it remains unknown what they actually spoke about.

An Overview of Episode 288 of Boruto: Naruto the Next Generations
Captive Slaves is the title of episode 288 of the anime series Boruto. Before, we witnessed Code gets seduced by Eida’s allure and decides against killing her. Even more so, instead of opposing Code, Eida works along with him. The fact that she has vengeful thoughts towards Amado is also exposed. He granted Eida her abilities, but he also cut off her social opportunities. When looking for Kawaki, Eida stated that she knows everything about her life from birth up to the present. Chakra Control is another technique that Boruto, Sarada, Kawaki, and Mitsuki use. Nevertheless, Kawaki is frustrated by the lack of progress and starts fighting with everyone. Boruto, however, challenges Kawaki to a duel in an attempt to end the conflict.

Latest Spoilers for Episode 289

Kawaki’s concerns regarding Code are hinted at in the teaser for “Boruto” Episode 289. It appears that the Otsutsuki ship is aware of the threat posed by the new bad guy. The next episode of “Boruto” will adapt Chapter 59 of the manga, titled “Knight.” The trouble that Boruto and the rest of Konoha are about to encounter begins with the disclosure of powerful talents and the forming of an alliance. After showcasing its incredible abilities to Code, fans discovered for themselves just how powerful Eida might be. After that, the two allied, which posed a threat to Konoha. Kawaki was down in the dumps since he couldn’t match Code’s tremendous strength. Even the teaser for the next episode shows how much his concerns have grown and how much they trouble him. Episode 289 of “Boruto” features Kawaki’s tirade against Code, who he saw in a dream, and his complaints to Amado and Sumire.

Fans of the manga know this happens after Kawaki has a nightmare in which Code confronts him about being selected as an Isshiki vessel when they were children. Amado claims that even if Isshiki’s soul has long since left his body, Kawaki will continue to serve as the latter’s vessel. The teaser also features a conversation between Eida and Code, however, it is unclear what they are discussing. Although Eida’s brother Daemon will be making an appearance, that scene isn’t shown in the trailer. The producers may want to keep that twist a surprise. Meanwhile, Boruto and Kawaki are likely to assault Eida because they know she can only use taijutsu and they would be unaffected. In Episode 289 of “Boruto,” she’ll have to rely on her brother Daemon because of this. The latter will soon show off his special skills.

The Code arc, the most current in the anime adaptation, is the fifth in the manga’s storyline. Code, the sole surviving member of the Inner Kara, will play a pivotal role as the main adversary of this cycle. The Otsutsuki clan’s legacy of wanting to reach the stars has been passed down to him. To achieve this, however, he must eat the Chakra fruit from the God tree and free himself from the restrictions Amado has placed on him. But, he needs Boruto and Kawaki’s help in order to grow the God tree. In addition to Code, this arc will introduce the series’ future protagonists Eida and Daemon. Episode 289 of “Boruto” will air on Sunday, February 26.

When you see the promo for Boruto episode 289. what do you find out?
The teaser for Boruto episode 289 shows Kawaki complaining to Amado and Sumire about the whiney, ungrateful Code who visited him in his dream. If you’re familiar with the manga, you’ll know that this is set after Kawaki recovers from a nightmare in which Code attacks him over being selected as Isshiki’s vessel when they were children. In the sneak peek, we also hear Amado say that even if Isshiki’s spirit is gone, Kawaki will continue to serve as Isshiki’s vessel so long as his body remains Otsutsuki.

The promo for Boruto episode 289 shows Eida and Code talking, however, it does not say what they are talking about. Daemon, Eida’s sibling, makes his appearance in Boruto episode 289. The introduction of Daemon is conspicuously excluded from the episode teaser, which is reasonable if the producers intend to surprise the audience. Seeing that Eida can only fight with taijutsu and there is a risk that Boruto and Kawaki, who are immune to her capabilities, may attack her, Eida will have to rely on Daemon, who possesses special powers.

Synopsis of Episode 288
Fans saw Code get fascinated by Eida’s charm in the previous episode, preventing him from murdering her. Eida decided against challenging him and instead worked with him. It was out that she was plotting revenge against Amado since he gave her superpowers and altered her physique but prevented her from having a regular romantic relationship. This is because every single person who set eyes on her immediately fell hopelessly in love. While she looked into Kawaki’s location, she also showed that she could recall any incident from her birth to the present.

After that, in episode 288 of Boruto, Boruto, Sarada, Kawaki, and Mitsuki are shown training in Chakra Control. Kawaki, however, became frustrated with the sluggish pace of development and began fighting with his colleagues as a result. As the bickering among the trainees became too much to bear, Boruto challenged Kawaki to a duel, with the victor deciding the course of future instruction. Young Uzumaki easily won the fight by leveraging his Karma. Kawaki was devastated by this development; he berated himself for failing to defend Naruto, his hero.

The 289th episode of Boruto, entitled “Qualifications,” will air on February 26, 2023. But, a preview has already been released, and it involves Kawaki, Amado, Eida, and, of course, Code, as well as other major characters from the Code arc. Knight, which is seen in chapter 59 of the Boruto manga, will serve as the inspiration for this episode. As Eida showed her remarkable abilities to Code in the previous episode, the two of them established an alliance. Spectators also saw Kawaki’s anger at being outmatched by Code. The extent of his concerns and how much they trouble him are shown in the preview. But, the preview just scratches the surface of what is ahead. Regrettably, the animation quality in the Code arc has been disappointing thus far.
