In the most recent episode of Tokyo Revengers, Takemichi and his pals were heavily trounced by Taiju and his companions, continuing a trend that has persisted throughout the series thus far. After being thoroughly defeated by Taiju, Takemichi was still determined to seize control of the Black Dragon. On the other hand, Hakkai still lacked the nerve to confront his older sibling. The next episode will bring Toman’s saviours, Mikey and Draken, and maybe the return of Mitsuya.

When Did Past Events Take Place on Tokyo Revengers? (Recap)
Once Yuzuha tries to approach Taiju, he punches her again. Takemichi stopped him just as he was about to murder Yuzuha. The Hakkai, on the other hand, observed the proceedings with palpable dread. Since that she was the one to really kill Taiju in this reality, Yuzuha was obviously crucial, and Takemichi knew this, but Hakkai put the guilt on himself in order to protect Yuzuha. So, Hakkai and Toman must safeguard Yuzuha if they are to avoid a bleak future. Yuzuha rose up again, this time with a knife in hand, intending to kill her brother, but Mitsuya had arrived by this time and had opted to fight him instead. He was queried by Taiju about the ceasefire and responded that it was irrelevant at this point. Mikey turned to Draken as they rode their bikes and inquired whether he heard Mitsuya’s motorcycle. The two fighters, Taiju and Mitsuya, clashed.

Meanwhile, Chifuyu arrived and said that he was the one who summoned Mitsuya. Mitsuya, despite being outmatched, kept battling Taiju despite Hakkai’s pleading. Inui arrived from behind Mitsuya and struck him with a rod, knocking him out. In the meanwhile, Koko landed, too. When Mitsuya finally awoke, they revisited their strategy for taking down Taiju, Koko, and Inui. Takemichi would take on Koko, Chifuyu would deal with Inui, and Mitsuya and Hakkai would take on Taiju. While Takemichi and Chifuyu began their conflicts and Mitsuya approached Taiju, Hakkai still lacked the courage to engage in combat with him. Hakkai saw everyone toppled and went to murder Taiju; however, his brother Takemichi intervened, telling him that killing his sibling was not the way they fought back. After taking many blows from Taiju, Takemichi kept his ground and declared that he would eventually overthrow Taiju and rule Black Dragon.

Recent Updates for Episode 8

The official synopsis and preview pictures for Episode 8 of Season 2 of “Tokyo Revengers” are now available thanks to Liden Productions. Takemichi appears to have no option but to engage in one-on-one combat with Taiju; can he survive? Considering how large and powerful an opponent Taiju is as the Sixth Division Captain of the Second Generation Tokyo Manji Gang, it’s clear that Takemichi has no chance against him. In the eighth episode of season two, “Tokyo Revengers,” Takemichi plots to seize control of the Black Dragon from Taiju.
Like with any good sequel, the new episode will pick up just where the last one ended. Everyone in the temple was taken aback by Takemichi’s announcement that he planned to vanquish Taiju. The power gap is so wide that it would be nearly impossible to defeat the eldest Shiba in a fight.

Despite this, Takemichi remains unfazed and committed to his war against Taiju. If Hakkai gets to that point, he could let slip the secret Taiju used to manipulate him. Because of the potential for backlash, Taiju has kept this information to himself. In Season 2, Episode 8 of “Tokyo Revengers,” he exploits it to get the upper hand on his siblings, but that could be about to change. The sneak peeks also show Mitsuya standing up. Takemichi might enlist his aid in his battle against the Black Dragon. This simply implies that Takemichi, in addition to Hakkai, will have the support of his buddies in his struggle against Taiju, Kokonoi, and Inui. Takemichi and his companions are at a disadvantage since Kokonoi and Inui’s gang members may show up at the church to aid Taiju if they learn of their presence there. Will Toman come to save them then?

Meanwhile, the heated scenario where Taiju wants to kill his sister for stabbing him in the back continued in Season 2 Episode 7 of “Tokyo Revengers.” Takemichi reasoned that it was because Kisaki wanted to corrupt Toman and take over Black Dragon. He intended for Yuzuha to kill Taiju so that he could claim credit for the deed and rule Hakkai. When Takemichi saw that Taiju was about to injure his sister, he intervened to halt the conflict. Yuzuha took advantage of the situation by charging forward with her dagger after Taiju had defeated Takemichi. Mitsuya put a halt to Yuzuha and confronted Taiju on his own, but Inui soon joined the fray and struck him with a stick.

Mitsuya, upon regaining consciousness, vowed to put an end to Taiju, while Takemichi and Chifuya confronted the rest of the Black Dragon. Hakkai, however, was too cowardly to confront his sibling, therefore Mitsuya was severely beaten. Takemichi arrived on the scene and said that he would single-handedly put an end to Taiju. Next week, on February 26, Season 2 Episode 7 of “Tokyo Revengers” will be released.
