An Unfortunate Alliance, or Chapter 1076 of One Piece
Zoro’s statement that he doesn’t think Rob Lucci and Kaku would agree to be handcuffed again later serves as the jumping-off point for the scanlations of One Piece chapter 1076. Kaku refutes this, arguing that once the Seraphim are defeated, they will re-impose the constraints without a struggle. In such an instance, Luffy readily agrees, but Zoro reveals the truth. Thereafter, S-Hawk uses the Dice-Dice Fruit (also known as Daz Bones’ Devil Fruit) to assault the gang. Kaku explains that they would never progress as long as they keep saving CP0, so Zoro and Luffy must save him and Lucci once again. As Vegapunk Shaka asks them why they’re here, Lucci explains that killing all seven Vegapunks was their primary objective.
Shaka begs whether he will have pity on Stussy because of her treason, but Lucci answers no. Angry, Kaku shouts at Lucci, “Are you trying to convince Luffy and Zoro not to help us?” as a cry is heard from outside the door. In Chapter 1076 of One Piece, Zoro realises it’s Nami’s voice, and he wonders how they’ll be able to keep everyone safe, even the seven Vegapunks. Next, Luffy requests the handcuff keys from Shaka, who complies, stating that Dr Vegapunk, the primary Stella body, must be safeguarded by all means. Once the Seraphim are vanquished, Luffy asks Lucci whether he plans to go after his crew and the Vegapunks.
Zoro calls Luffy a fool in chapter 1076 of One Piece, assuming that Lucci will see through the sarcasm. But, Lucci does fall for the insult, pledging to murder Luffy before the others. In the midst of Zoro’s stunned admission that Lucci fell for the bait, S-Bear unleashes an Ursus Shock on the gang, uncuffing Lucci and Kaku in the process. As Lucci is still in his unAwakened Hybrid state, Luffy changes into Gear Fourth. Together, they fire S-Bear out of the building with a Gum-Gum Kong Gun and a Six King Gun. Zoro and Kaku’s original forms use Purgatory Onigiri and Tempest Kick: White Thunder on S-Hawk, respectively, to achieve the same effect and put an end to the Seraphim danger for the time being.
Dr Vegapunk is discovered in Chapter 1076 of One Piece, and war breaks out.
The focus of One Piece chapter 1076 moves to a hidden jail deep beneath the lab, where a number of Cipher Pol operatives have been held for more than two months. These agents were among those that vanished at the beginning of the arc, which was first reported by Lucci; one of them explains what happened and offers an apology. Dr Vegapunk is revealed to be this person, and he expresses regret that he is unaware of their predicament or anything similar occurring on Egghead Island. Dr Vegapunk, bruised and battered, complains that he can’t think straight because he’s exhausted, and wonders aloud if the World Government has discovered his Poneglyph study. In the midst of the issue’s transition away from Egghead Island, readers learn via Marine communications that more than a hundred ships are en route to the island.
The setting for the next chapter of One Piece is “a tavern in a little port on a specific island in the new world,” where an invitation to accompany an expedition has been made. A mysterious individual is heard saying, “There’s no way I’d send a hot-headed youngster like them,” before a bartender advises the child to give up since they’ll turn the other captains green with envy. When asked who the silhouetted figure is, the kid says, “the chief,” only to have it turn out to be Shanks. Rockstar assures Shanks that “that bastard” is actively attacking them and that a full-scale fight is imminent. Because they were ready to leave, Shanks wonders if this is good or poor timing, noting that he wasted time talking to people he had assumed were dead. As Shanks consults his trusted crewmates Benn Beckman, Lucky Roux, and Yasopp, Beckman quips that the enemy is going to be angry since they were kept waiting.
Lucky Roux jokes and then asks Beckman directly whether he believes Shanks to be the only one their opponent is angry with. The previous youngster then asks Shanks whether he is truly going out there to battle when he claims that they are setting sail. Shanks assures the bartender he would never allow the island to be turned into a battleground. One Piece chapter 1076 reveals that the island he is now on is Elbaf, home of the Giants, and so he seeks Dorry and Brogy for help because he doesn’t want to cause any significant issues there. It appears that Oimo and Kashi were successful in rescuing their old captains from Little Garden since they are shown with their previous leaders. When the Yonko hear that Dorry and Brogy have agreed to aid Shanks, they have Rockstar deliver a message to their opponent, Captain Eustass Kid. In other words, Kid and his crew have the option of leaving and handing up the Road Poneglyph rubbings, or staying and fighting Shanks and his men again.
The action of One Piece chapter 1076 shifts to the waters around Elbaf, where Killer makes a remark about how numerous their foe is. While Kid grips and adjusts his robotic arm, Killer says that any crew aligned with Shanks looks to be a big shot. The killer continues by saying that Kid lost an arm in the last battle with Shanks before the latter had even made his appearance. He continues by saying that the Red-Haired Pirates won’t be satisfied with Kid’s arm this time and would instead go for his life. Following this, we see Shanks making his way through Elbaf towards his ship, where he and his crew are met with adulation from the townspeople and the other captains. In the last pages of the issue, Kid informs Killer, with a chuckle, that’s only true if he loses, and the two men head out to do combat.
