On Wednesday, February 22, 2023, purported raw scans of One Piece chapter 1076 appeared online, providing a fascinating glimpse into the issue’s artwork and events. The decision of Luffy and Zoro to join forces with Lucci and Kaku thrilled fans. Zoro’s clear qualms about the scenario, though, may be an indication of the future of this ill-fated relationship. Moreover, Dr Vegapunk’s whereabouts are exposed in the purported raw scans of One Piece chapter 1076, which supposedly depict him being held in a hidden cell somewhere on Egghead Island. Blood and bruises were visible on the doctor, suggesting he fought with his abductor. With Shanks and Kid gearing up for a battle in Elbaf, the issue’s climax should be one of the most thrilling moments.
While the show’s sabbatical beginning next week is disappointing, viewers have been given plenty of fascinating plot points and hints to mull over in the meantime. Learn all you need to know about the purported raw scans of One Piece chapter 1076 right here.
As conflict erupts in Elbaf in Chapter 1076 of One Piece, Luffy and Zoro agree to Lucci and Kaku’s demand.
Raw Scans
First up in the raw images for this week’s One Piece chapter 1076 is the cover of this week’s edition of Weekly Shonen Jump, which has Luffy, Chopper, and Dr Vegapunk in their Egghead Island arc garb. The Straw Hat gang are seen in a variety of contemporary garments and accessories on the chapter’s colourful cover page. The raw scans continue the tale from the previous issue’s final page. Anything Kaku says to Luffy about his and Lucci’s temporary independence seems to irritate Zoro, so it’s likely that he’s saying it. Then S-Hawk rushes at them, his leg transformed into a blade by his manufactured Dice-Dice Fruit (Daz Bones’ true Devil Fruit).
Zoro appears to make the link immediately in the raw scans of One Piece chapter 1076 when he fights another user of the Dice-Dice Fruit after an explosion. Here, Kaku and Lucci appear to make further arguments in favour of their temporary freedom, before Luffy decides to set them free on the next page. It would appear that Zoro is trying to dissuade Luffy from making this choice, or at least shares his concerns. While the S-Bear Seraphim readies an attack, however, Luffy appears oblivious to them and instead engages in discussion with an irritated Rob Lucci. When he begins his attack, Lucci and Kaku are released from their bonds; Luffy has transformed into his Gear Fourth form, while Lucci has transformed into his non-Awakened Hybrid form.
One Piece chapter 1076 shifts perspective when these two eliminate S-Bear and base-form Zoro and base-form Kaku destroy S-Hawk. The audience is subsequently transported to an underground jail on Egghead Island, where they witness the incarceration of many Cipher Pol operatives responsible for the disappearances that set the arc in motion. A bruised and visibly beaten Dr Vegapunk lies in a cell apart from them. He is alert and doesn’t appear to be in immediate danger from his injuries, but the blood on his face indicates he has been brutally attacked by his kidnapper. Raw scans show him having a conversation with himself before switching viewpoints to a pub on Elbaf Island’s shore.
Not long later, it’s revealed that Shanks and his gang are holed up in the pub and that among them is a Giant kid who seems to be completely smitten with him. Then, in Chapter 1076 of One Piece, Shanks has a conversation with Dorry, Brogy, Oimo, and Kashi, four Giants who happen to be at the bar. The first two made their debut in the Little Garden arc, while the Enies Lobby duo made their debut a few chapters later. The book then changes its focus to the waters near Elbaf, where Shanks is seen leaving the tavern with his Giant buddies and crew in tow. Killer appears to warn Eustass Kid about the perils of going up against Shanks as he watches Kid and his crew battleships from Shanks’ fleet. The issue ends with close-ups of the dogged faces of both captains, suggesting that the warning was ignored.
