The raw scans and spoilers for My Hero Academia chapter 381 were revealed earlier in the week, teasing an exciting issue in which Fumikage Tokoyami is thrown into the forefront. Tokoyami’s moment in the spotlight was a hit with readers because it was so unexpected, even if the issue as a whole was tremendously thrilling, both objectively and according to the series’ high standard. Despite the claims of certain readers, his involvement in Chapter 381 of My Hero Academia is natural and gradually built up. When you consider that he was trained by the Hawks, the motivations behind his most recent conduct seem apparent. In Chapter 381 of My Hero Academia, Tokoyami’s unwavering courage and decisive deeds solidify his status as the embodiment of the Hawks.
A concise summary of spoilers
This conversation between Camie Utsushimi, Seiji Shishikura, and All For One is said to kick off My Hero Academia chapter 381 (named “Darkness”). That’s before any of the other Shiketsu students show there to lend a hand. Tsukauchi gets in touch with Hawks, who thanks him for sending reinforcements. He later hears from Tsukauchi that the Shiketsu students were already on their way when he called for them. The unexpected shift in strategy has made the Heroes appear desperate in the eyes of All For One. He then utilises his Quirks to sprout wings and hurls a laser infused with black lightning at his foes while laughing maniacally. The antagonist then demands to know how the Heroes expect to prevail without All Might, before adding that people who have only known times of peace have no concept of his true capabilities.
All For One is shown preaching about the height of his power and influence while a “completely burnt” Dabi chases after Endeavor in the purported spoilers for My Hero Academia chapter 381. The Shiketsu student says he knows exactly who he’s up against and still won’t back down when Inasa’s wind blows in the direction of All For One. All For One offers his thanks and contemplates snatching Inasa’s Quirk before using the wind to his advantage and launching an attack on Inasa and his allies. The remaining Heroes are too frail to stand a chance against him. At this point, Fumikage Tokoyami and a huge Dark Shadow materialise in the background, surprising All For One. The bad guy is clearly panicked and trying to figure out where to duck. But now that a stone dome protects All For One, Tokoyami, and the other Heroes, avoiding isn’t going to do anything. The issue closes with Hawks leading the Heroes in an “All For One” by himself.
Exactly why Tokoyami should play this part
Up to chapter 381 of My Hero Academia, the Pro Hero Hawks narrative has been one of the most interesting and well-received in the series. Fans were also thrilled to learn that an intern named Fumikage Tokoyami would be working with and learning from the master himself. Fans hoped that, with such a prominent Pro Hero as his trainer, Tokoyami would emerge as a big figure in future arcs.
Tokoyami lived up to all of these lofty expectations throughout the Paranormal Liberation War and was arguably the only reason Hawks made it out of the conflict zone alive. In the same vein, Tokoyami rescued Hawks once again in the current arc, allowing the No. 2 Pro Hero to smash All For One’s mask. In the future, in Chapter 381 of My Hero Academia, Tokoyami has finally earned the respect and approval of his master, Hawks, and he has genuinely terrified All For One. Given Hawks’ major role in the series’ second half’s conflict between heroes and villains, this couldn’t be more appropriate.
Tokoyami, who he mentored after he saved her life during the Paranormal Liberation War cycle, is now playing a similarly pivotal role. It’s only fair that some of the most powerful Hero couples in the fight against All For One are masters and students. Kohei Horikoshi, the author and artist, has done excellent work as well. Tokoyami’s participation in the series’ climactic fight (as of My Hero Academia chapter 381) makes perfect sense because of the wonderful parity and dramatic impact it has on the story. Seeing how Hawks is no longer capable of being the Pro Hero he once was, his apprentice Tokoyami appears poised to take over as an equally significant and formidable force.
Latest Updates
Chapter 381 of My Hero Academia will be available on February 27, 2023, at 12:01 a.m. JST. Since the pupils of Shiketsu High School arrived in the last chapter, readers are eagerly awaiting its publication. All eyes are now on them to see what role they play in the resistance against All For One. The confrontation between Midoria and Shigaraki, as well as the Shiketsu pupils, is something that fans are eagerly anticipating. New raw scan spoilers, however, have put the spotlight on Tokoyami, who may soon prove to be even more formidable than Todoroki and Bakugo.
Tokoyami’s Dark Shadow is fully realised in My Hero Academia Chapter 381
Tokoyami’s growth in strength might be showcased in the next chapter of My Hero Academia. His “Dark Shadow” quirk is highly effective in his hands. He employs it as a weapon, a shield, a means of rapid movement, and a lifesaver. Next episode, Tokoyami uses his whole darkness to defeat AFO. Tokoyami’s peculiarly black shadow cast a fearful look on AFO as he came closer. Then when Tokoyami attacks AFO, all AFO can think about is dodging it. In the next chapter, Tokoyami has the potential to become one of the most powerful heroes in Class 1-A. In the previous chapter, Tokoyami shattered AFO’s mask, and in the next chapter of My Hero Academia, he will make AFO frightened of his presence. If All Might is correct, then neither Dark Shadow nor the quirk that gives it its name, “Endeavor,” can be taken by just touching another person. If so, Tokoyami might become a formidable adversary for AFO.
Both Bakugo and Todoroki have proven themselves to be formidable fighters, but in the most recent chapter releases of My Hero Academia, only Tokoyami has been able to maintain his position when facing AFO. It’s worth noting, though, that the three of them have faced up against various villains and have distinct habits. As evidence, Tokoyami has repeatedly beaten Midoria, Todoroki, and Katsuki in head-to-head competitions, establishing himself as one of Class 1-A’s top pupils. Fans have watched him place ninth on the UA admission exam and third in the UA sports festival, both thanks to his talents.
Can Todoroki and Bakugo hold a candle to Tokoyami’s strength?
At the previous year’s My Hero Academia Sports Festival, we saw how Tokoyami was able to put a recommended student, Momo Yaoyorozu, on the defensive and beat her before she could mount a comeback. Izuku witnessed this and proclaimed Fumikage to be among the strongest individuals in one-on-one confrontations. Tokoyami eventually managed to stave off Katsuki’s advances.
When fighting against the Paranormal liberators, Tokoyami was able to push back Re-Destro, just as he had done at the sports festival. Black Abyss, in which Tokoyami casts a dark shadow around himself, is his go-to attack. The Covert Black-Ops Arms, Black Fallen Angel, Ragnarok, and other strikes are just the tip of the iceberg for his arsenal.
Tokoyami’s peculiarity is mostly determined by the interplay between day and night. When the sun is out, he’ll have an easier time keeping things under control. This isn’t all that determines the outcome; other factors come into play on the inside. According to Mezo, Tokoyami’s negative feelings give Dark Shadow additional strength and power, but at the expense of Tokoyami’s loss of command. When he becomes angry, he says, Dark Shadow gets the best of him. Mangaka Horikoshi claims that Dark Shadow is more potent than even Bakugo and Todoroki’s quirks combined. If everyone helps Tokoyami perform at his highest level, the crowd could get to watch him defeat AFO. So, deciding who is stronger will be a hurried business. Perhaps the next several chapters of My Hero Academia will provide some answers. Yet, Tokoyami is one of the most powerful heroes, having beaten Midoriya, Todoroki, and Bakugo in the past. Even Midoriya admits that he would be a formidable foe in a direct confrontation with him.
