A release date of February 27, 2023, has been set for the official publication of One Piece Chapter 1076. Raw scans of epic battles and fascinating story twists have been leaking out and being translated unofficially till then. The ruthless vice-captain of the Red Hair Pirates, Benn Beckman, is one of the most memorable figures in One Piece chapter 1076. Benn has always been viewed as a powerful guy due to his position as Shanks’ right-hand man. Leaks and raw scans of the chapter show that Benn was the one who attacked and injured Eustass Kid when the latter challenged the Red Hair Pirates. Benn Beckman is a major character in One Piece.
In the eyes of the Red Hair Pirates, Benn is a top dog
Benn Beckmann is a high-ranking pirate who became Shanks’ trusted lieutenant and one of the Four Emperors. Benn is the Red Hair Pirates’ first mate because he is Shanks’s most trusted and reliable subordinate. All three pirate groups share a similar organisational structure; this makes the Roger Pirates, the Red Hair Pirates, and the Straw Hat Pirates all equivalent to one another. The Straw Hat Pirates are the up-and-coming generation, while the Roger Pirates are the seasoned veterans of the sea. Generations prior to and after the Red Hair Pirates. Rayleigh in the Roger Pirates, Benn in the Red Hair Pirates, and Zoro in the Straw Hat Pirates are like brothers to their respective captains and serve as their second-in-commands. Before becoming the mentor and role model of Luffy, the Straw Hat Pirates’ captain, Shanks served as Roger’s apprentice. Roger left Shanks his straw hat, and Shanks gave it to Luffy, so forming a chain of ownership that led all the way to Luffy.
These three groups are small in total, with only a handful of high-ranking members serving in executive capacities. Shanks is the leader of the Red Hair Pirates and has complete say over the band’s affairs. Just under his nose is where you’ll find his right-hand guy, Benn Beckman. Even more influential than Yasopp and Lucky Roux, Benn is the most senior officer in the fleet. The Red Pirates are a well-rounded crew since they consist of several skilled pirates. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji make up the Monster Trio and are reminiscent of the Metal Trio of Roger, Rayleigh, and Gaban. The original versions of the names Roger and Rayleigh are derived from the valuable metals gold and silver, respectively, whereas Gaban’s name comes from the nonprecious metal copper. This suggests that Luffy and Zoro are captains and top aides, while Sanji is the third in command. While the Straw Hat Pirates, Roger Pirates, and Red Hair Pirates all have commonalities, so too did Shanks, Benn, and Lucky Roux.
Benn is one of the most famous “number twos” (the second strongest members of the series’ major crews and organisations) seen in the chapter 1031 colour spread. At all times, he has been depicted as an equal to his captain’s status as a trusted aide. An individual’s right-hand man is the most trusted and reliable follower within the group. During combat, he is there to help his commander and offer guidance. If the latter becomes unable to work, he may even replace him. They know they can count on the “number two” on the crew. His own strength gives him the ability to command respect. Benn Beckman is incredibly dependable, making him an essential member of any crew like the Red Hair Pirates. Benn is the second strongest member of the crew and also serves as the first mate (also known as vice-captain). This makes him the second-highest ranking officer aboard the ship, behind the captain. Benn, then, is the one on whom Shanks can rely the most.
Capabilities and strengths that Benn Beckman possesses
Benn, as the Red Hair Pirates’ second-in-command, has to be a formidable warrior. He is the only member of the crew that can rival Shanks’ strength, just like Zoro is equal to Monkey D. Luffy. Benn and Shanks have a “Sun and Moon” relationship that suggests they are on equal footing, much as Zoro and Luffy and Rayleigh and Roger. As a matter of fact, Benn’s fighting skills have been likened to those of Shanks. When you think about how powerful Shanks is, this becomes even more convincing. Shanks was able to prove himself in the battle against Whitebeard and Dracule Mihawk, the world’s strongest swordsman, while also terrifying a Marine Admiral with his presence. Benn has not been featured in a one-on-one matchup. Becoming Shanks’ trusted brother-in-arms is an accomplishment in itself. In addition, Eiichiro Oda, the creator of One Piece, has shared additional details about Benn’s talents. Benn, according to Oda, has formidable Haki, maybe even superior to that of the Marine Admirals. Because of this, he can launch devastating attacks. His flintlock weapon is equipped with Haki-coated bullets that can pierce through any foe.
In fact, even the World Government’s highest-ranking employee, Marine Admiral Kizaru, feared for his life when he met Benn. Kizaru was too scared to challenge Benn while he had a pistol to his head. We know that Rayleigh and Zoro, like their captains, can tap into the immense power of the Advanced Conqueror’s Haki, but whether or not Benn can do the same is up for debate. It is reasonable to assume, however, that Benn shares this ability with his contemporaries. Benn also has a bright brain and is physically strong and agile. It has been said that Benn, out of all the new characters in the East Blue Saga, has the highest Intelligence.
Episode 1076 of One Piece featured Benn as a major antagonist to Eustass Child.
In the hunt for the “man marked by flames,” or someone with crucial One Piece knowledge, Kid, Killer, and the rest of their team travelled to Elbaf, the island of the giants. But, the Red Hair Pirates, who are good friends with the giants, live on Elbaf. The situation has the potential to spark hostilities between the two crews. Indeed, it certainly wouldn’t be the first time anything like that happened. The Red Pirates had already been challenged once by the Kid Pirates, and the Kid Pirates had been thoroughly defeated. Shanks didn’t have to become involved because there was a huge disparity in resources between the two camps. Benn Beckman played a pivotal part in the clash by engaging Eustass Kid in combat. To prove his ruthlessness, he not only thrashed Kid but also severed his left arm. Because he cut up their captain, Benn has earned the utmost hatred from the Child Pirates.
Benn Beckman’s ruthlessness and superior strength were on full display in this incident. Even more importantly, it provides Kid and his men with a compelling reason to exact vengeance upon Benn, Shanks, and the rest of the Red Hair Pirates. Killer warned Kid that taking on the Red Hair Pirates was no easy task and that if he lost an arm the first time around, he may lose his life the second. As this is going on, Shanks, Benn, Lucky Roux, and the rest of the crew are travelling coolly to the shore of Elbaf in preparation for the impending attack.
Summary
A leader is only as good as his or her second in command. Luffy has Zoro, Shanks has Benn Beckman, and Roger formerly had Rayleigh to rely on. Rayleigh, Benn, and Zoro are so formidable that they may essentially serve as “shadow captains.” While viewers of One Piece have yet to see Benn in genuine combat, they may infer his strength from his standing. A powerful subordinate of Shanks’, on par with Shanks’ own strength, he is no ordinary man. By employing his Haki, he can transform a harmless flintlock rifle into a lethal weapon.
Comparisons to the likes of Shiryu, Zoro, Eustass Kid, Law, Sabo, and Yamato in terms of physical prowess are warranted. These people are on the cusp of becoming the One Piece world’s undisputed elite. Because of this, Benn is strong enough to give most Admirals and Emperors a run for their money. If they choose to confront him, they will be thrust into an extremely difficult battle. Shanks is more powerful than the rest of them, and Benn is his trusted aide, whose charisma is said to rival that of their leader.
Recently, Shanks informed Benn of his desire to enter the One Piece competition. Based on the events of One Piece 1076, it appears like the Red Hair Pirates will have a rematch with the Kid Pirates, despite the fact that most viewers anticipated them to combat Blackbeard’s crew or the Straw Hats.
