At the beginning of the previous chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, Sukuna reflected on the fact that Megumi could resist him, but that it would have been unfortunate if, like Yuji, she turned into a prison for him. To find the precise time of Mugumi’s spiritual breakdown, he waited. A cut to Megumi, who hit Yuji so hard he crashed through many buildings, spitting blood, and knocking others out. Yuji was knocked out cold by the blow and was found laying amid the debris. After hearing the ruckus, Maki and Tabaka sprinted over to Yuji. The ancient Sukuna saw them and said, “In every era, the insects come creeping out of the woodwork.” He then used a specific hand gesture to call upon Nue. After then, the cursed bird launched a lightning barrage against the building. In the meanwhile, Hana showed in and yelled at Angel, telling her not to use the purification light because it was Megumi. Angel said that she was powerless and that they had to remove the Disgraced One (Sukuna) before he had a greater grasp on Megumi. She rips off Sukuna using a method called Jacob’s Ladder while yelling that Mugumi is hers. Hana raced towards Sukuna after he thanked her, convinced that the spirit had left Megumi’s body for good. Angel had forewarned her, but it was too late. She gave Megumi a bear hug, and we saw that Sukuna was still inside of him; at the conclusion of the chapter, Sukuna’s gaping maw was open, ready to eat Hana.

Recap of Chapter 213
Chapter 213 of Jujutsu Kaisen is titled “Cursed Womb: Under Heaven, Part 5.” Right off the off, Sukuna begins explaining his strategy for Megumi. In order to get control over Megumi at the appropriate time, he claims to have murdered Yuji and established a secret pact with his ghost. Sukuna waited to break Megumi’s spirit until he was stronger and the timing was right. Yuji, in the narrative, was stunned by what he witnessed and sought to ask inquiries.
Megumi and Sukuna attacked him, punching him hard before he could finish. Yuji was so knocked out by the hit that he soared into the air and vomited blood.
Eventually, word of the commotion reached Takaba and Maki, who then informed the rest of the colony. Using Megumi’s 10 shadow methods, Sukuna summoned Nue.
