In episode 19 of Blue Lock, what can we expect?
In the nineteenth episode of Blue Lock, Isagi, Nagi, and Barou will select a new partner from the antagonistic group. Isagi’s performance as the game’s MVP bodes well for his request to choose the team’s next player. Isagi has already stated his wish to recruit Chigiri, thus it seems likely that the speed demon will soon be joining Isagi, Nagi, and Barou as a member of their squad. Isagi aims to reclaim Bachira, so he and his crew may immediately challenge Rin Itoshi to a battle when they reach the fourth level.
Episode 18 of Blue Lock: A Recap
In episode 18 of Blue Lock, dubbed The Lead Actor’s Stage, Isagi replaces Barou as the show’s hero after the latter is intimidated into throwing the ball to him with just a stare. After Isagi’s goal tied the score, whoever scored next was certain to win. While Isagi and Nagi were the ones who came up with the brilliant response to the Red team’s offensive pattern, it was Barou who stole the show by refusing to pass to either Isagi or Nagi on the subconscious level. Instead, it was Barou’s chop feints and dribbling that culminated in the game-winning goal.
The next episode of Blue Lock airs on TV Asahi at 1:30 a.m. JST on Sunday, February 19. Crunchyroll will be the only place to view the anime outside of a select few regions where Netflix will host the show. After Isagi directed Barou to score in the previous episode, Barou conceded that Isagi was the main character. But he was not about to abdicate his throne, and so he underwent a metamorphosis that allowed him to dribble past his opponents and score the game-winning goal.
