DBS Chapter 90: Spoilers and Teasers
Since the chain of events that led to Dr Hido’s current predicament occurred at a party, it stands to reason that Trunks would finally be able to convince Mai to accompany him to one. He also mentions that his superhero idol god will be in attendance, though he and Mai certainly won’t be the only notable guests. This was due to the fact that, unbeknownst to Trunks, Dr Hido actually learns that his Superhero Idol, Clean God, is also going to be at this event as well; consequently, both Trunks and Dr Hido are now attending the exact same party at the exact same time without having to know each other or even acknowledge each other. Now, by the side to side, to where a little later Dr Hido actually ends up unleashing upon every single person at this party is, in fact, this is a gigantic dinosaur, but it is not just an ordinary living breathing dinosaur, but rather an Android dinosaur created by Dr Hido, and what Dr Hido hopes to accomplish here isn’t really having to retrieve the confidential disc that was taken by Trunks, of course, that had been stolen from his lab. Since it appears that Dr Hido doesn’t care about the confidential disc anymore, only because he now has the information embedded in his brain, we are going to go ahead and get into all the explicit details on what is about to transpire moving forward, beginning with the fact that Dr Gero simply wants to go about destroying Goten and Trunks by any means necessary.
Synopsis of Dragon Ball Super Chapter 90
Showdown with Dr Hedo is the name of the upcoming chapter in the manga, and we can already tell that it will begin with Officer Krillin questioning residents of the Ticket District to find out where the zombies’ workplace was located. After this, one of the individuals indicates a certain store as the location where his query may be answered with a point of his finger. Upon entering the residence, Officer Krillin approaches the zombies and tells them to accompany him to the station so that he may question them further about the case and find out who their master is. Officer Krillin is midway through a talk with them when he becomes sidetracked by Pilaf Gana’s Mai.
The zombies see this as an opportunity and attempt to flee the convenience store in order to avoid capture during the investigation, but the heroic police officer manages to chase them down, disarm them, and place them under custody. Meanwhile, we observe Goten and Kinto’un on their way to class. After getting off Kinto’un, Goten takes a bus to the schools to make up the remaining distance. He did this because he wanted them to know he was coming to the faraway, hidden school. Chok, who has been waiting for him at the bus stop, is one of the people he runs into on his way there. Since Chok has never seen him anywhere else in town but at school, he naturally wonders if he truly does live that far away.
Goten tells him he doesn’t enjoy going outside the house as much as the other pupils do so that he can hide his secret from him. In the next section, Goten’s classmate Fayla inquires about Trunks. As Trunk is much older than him, she wonders how they are supposed to know each other and have such cordial relations. As an answer to her inquiry, Goten explains that he and Trunks’ family had been close for a very long time, which is why the two were raised as close companions. Fayla then requests that Trunks invite her to dance with him at the impending party the following weekend. Chok speculates that Trunks, being so renowned that all the females want to be his buddy, may have already chosen his party companion.
Goten explains that this is not the case and that he still hasn’t asked anybody to the dance party with him, but he is ready to invite Mai. The bus comes to an abrupt halt as Dr Hedo’s Beta No. 7 appears out of nowhere and blocks its path. Suddenly, Beta No. 7 shouts for Goten to exit the bus and reveals that he is aware of Goten’s status as a Sayanman. He now understood why so many people had followed Goten for so long. Chok unlocks the bus window and tells Goten to get out to assist him to escape. Goten seizes the opportunity, sprints down a back alley, and activates his wristwatch to become the Saiyanman X2. Saiyanman X2 steps forward to aid the kids on the bus now. Here, Chok and Fayla realise that Saiyanman only emerges after Goten vanishes and that the two are never in the same place at the same time. A while later, Saiyanman X2 easily takes down Dr Hedo’s Beta No 7.
As Mai overhears them talking about something, she walks up to Trunks and asks if he would be willing to be her dancing partner at the forthcoming dance party this weekend. The next scene reveals that Mai has spotted a spy bee buzzing about her and Trunks. Dr Hedo, who overheard their entire talk, sent this bee because he is thrilled that Clean God himself will be there. As a result of this, Dr Hedo has decided to abandon the search for the disc in favour of attending the party. Now Alpha 12 realises that entry to the party is restricted to those accompanied by a female companion. Back at school, Trunks tells Goten that he is relieved that he won’t have to break the news to Mai that he is a member of the Saiyanman team. This is why Trunks ditches Goten’s plan to play games and instead goes shopping for a frock to wear to the party with his crush.
Mai tells Goten not to divulge, saying that they are being watched or something, and showing him the spy bee, and if he exposes his actual identity or where he lives, it will be over for him, while he ponders how to react to Fayla’s query. Furthermore, Mai is convinced that the original Androids have been keeping tabs on them the whole time. This time, though, Goten realises that they are aware of his whereabouts and sent androids to find him. Eventually, Mai recalls what Beta No. 1 had stated to them. Dr Hedo’s handiwork as creator was exposed. Mai finally tracks down Dr Hedo, an Android expert, after a lengthy search. Mai decides to draw Dr Hedo by stating a more engaging narrative, and since she knows he is a major fan of the hero Clean God, she decides to mention the Clean God Dance Party.
