Summary of One Piece Episode 1051
After the events of the previous episode, in which Momo bit Kaido, Luffy reassured him that there was nothing to be afraid of now that Momo had bitten an emperor of the sea, in Episode 1051 of One Piece, the scenario continued. Even as Momonosuke and Yamato make their way to safety, Luffy and Kaido are still engaged in combat. A full-force strike causes the sky to rip apart, revealing the moon. The return of the moon’s illumination allows Neko and Inu to once again assume their Sulong forms, which they employ to great effect in their separate victories against Jack and Peroline.
In the aftermath of witnessing the sky open up and revealing Kaido and Luffy engaged in battle, the latter’s presence inspires the former and raises morale. Alternatively, up on the roof, we can see that Onigahisma is in freefall, and Kaido plans to have it crash down on the flower city, therefore establishing a new seat of his empire there. Luffy vowed to destroy Kaido at whatever cost, inspiring Momo and Yamamoto to devise a strategy to prevent the Island’s destruction.
