Complete Spoilers for My Hero Academia chapter 380, New Leaks, Summary, Storyline Leaked Online

On Wednesday, February 15th, what are believed to be spoilers for My Hero Academia chapter 380 were made public, bringing with them some really interesting developments for the series’ final arc. After a sudden two-week hiatus, readers weren’t sure what to expect from this issue, so the reappearance of the Shiketsu students came as somewhat of a surprise. It was a pleasant surprise to see My Hero Academia chapter 380 jump around to several battlefields, illustrating how the return of the Shiketsu kids affected each location. Despite the evident delight for the figure who generated one such impression, viewers were not entirely on board with the effect. Camie Utsushimi’s comeback in My Hero Academia chapter 380 was met with mixed emotions from readers owing to the chapter’s fake-out death introduction.

A concise summary of spoilers
La Brava resets the U.A. security system in preparation for the imminent expiration of Gentle Criminal’s Quirk at the beginning of My Hero Academia chapter 380. Before wrapping up, she checks to see if Gentle films taken by students in a business course are being shown live across the world. The students insist on filming the fight in order to boost Heroes’ public profile, while La Brava argues that the world must see Gentle’s awesomeness. The chapter supposedly concludes with the Twice clones hurling Aizawa from the U.A. flying coffin. As Kurogiri continues to glitch, Present Mic tries to catch up to him, but the two of them end up falling into a portal and losing Erasure.

Students in Deku’s support course are writing reports on the battle between him and Shigaraki, and All For One boasts at Gunga Mountain that he can still possess Shigaraki’s body. Because of Hawks, he is unable to reach Shigaraki’s corpse and therefore accomplish his goal. Though he claims to be able to halt All For One, the latter appears to have destroyed him with an attack that completely obliterates his body. My Hero Academia chapter 380 reveals that Hawks was actually Camie Utsushimi, who was later joined by Seiji Shishikura and Inasa Yoarashi.

The newest phoney death and how it wrecks the show for good
The fake-out death of Hawks is a harsh pill to chew in My Hero Academia chapter 380, despite the excitement of the homecoming of Camie Utsushimi and the other Shiketsu students. Fans are not pleased with how Shiketsu’s reappearance was set up, especially in light of the heated debates over the lack of stakes in the final arc. Even more so after Katsuki Bakugo’s supposed death at the hands of Pro Hero Edgeshot, only to be brought back to life nearly instantly. Bakugo’s death was panned not just because it was a fake-out, but also because of how Edgeshot gave his life for the cause. Fans may have hoped that Edgeshot would donate his life, but he just gave up a piece of his life.

While it makes sense that Bakugo would be protected from an early demise by narrative armour, Hawks doesn’t have the same luxury. In fact, in light of the supposed revelations, some viewers are suggesting that Hawks’ character arc may be improved by his untimely demise. As a result of these two factors, many viewers of My Hero Academia chapter 380 were left feeling quite let down by this plot point.
There are a lot of different ways the Shiketsu kids might have been brought back, and many are upset that they weren’t used. Instead of Camie standing in for the Hawks, Kohei Horikoshi might have shown Shishikura utilising his Quirk to deflect All For One’s strike, signalling the team’s arrival.

Insasa may also be customised in a similar fashion. The Twice clones might have been scooped up by an unseen power, which would thereafter be revealed to be Shiketsu. If the author had wanted to avoid the use of a fake-out death, he might have incorporated Nagamasa Mora, a class representative, into the plot by having him use his Extend-o-Hair Quirk to pull a Pro Hero out of the path.
