Is the Haikyuu returning for a fifth season?
In 2020, the last season of Haikyuu was released in two parts. In December 2020, the season that included yet another mega match came to a close. No renewal for Season 5 has been announced by Production I.G or any affiliated firm as of 21 July 2022. This is not the end, and we know it. After the conclusion of the 4th season, the cast and crew expressed their excitement for the show’s potential fifth instalment. A fifth season is not confirmed by this remark, but it does seem good. Four years later, the anime’s fourth season premiered. It is too soon to see a season confirmation due to the length of time that has transpired since the past season.
However, there are certain major characteristics that allow us to make educated guesses regarding the upcoming season. We should have enough raw material for a new season of Anime. The manga Haikyuu inspired an anime of the same name. Shueisha airs the Anime, which was written and drawn by Haruichi Furudate. However, Viz Media is responsible for releasing the English dub of the manga to the public. Since its first release in February 2012, a total of 45 volumes have been released for this manga. Unfortunately, the manga will not continue until the last volume is released on November 4, 2020. There have been 33 seasons of the anime based on the manga, so there should be enough material left for at least one more season and maybe even one or two OVAs. The news is both good and awful. A new season of anime can easily be made because there is plenty of material to draw from, but making the sixth season is difficult because the manga has ended.
The fifth season of Haikyuu has been confirmed for 2023
The English Haikyuu Twitter account indicated that the forthcoming season of the anime, Haikyuu Season 5, would be the final season of the series and that it was occurring, but the message was swiftly removed, leaving fans to question whether that was indeed the case. The voice actor for Tobio Kageyama, Kaito Ishikawa, tweeted on August 13, 2022, “The FINAL has been determined! The happiness I feel at seeing the continuance and commencement of a season that will never be repeated has a profound effect on me emotionally. In the recording, I will compete against Kageyama and Karasuno!
An Update on the Release of Season 5 of “Haikyuu”
The conclusion of Season 4 occurred in December 2020, therefore it has been more than a long time since we’ve heard an official explanation of when Season 5 will be published. Many seasons of Haikyu!! have been delayed in the past, including the four-year gap between the third and fourth seasons and the fourth season being delayed due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Since it has been well over a year since the conclusion of Season 4, it may come as no surprise that Haikyuu Season 5 is facing a similar fate, given the history of delays surrounding the programme.
We don’t have a confirmed release date for Season 5 yet. Although a fifth season is unlikely, it is not impossible. A tweet from the anime’s official Twitter account expressing “anticipation for the continuation” strongly suggests that season 5 is on its way. The explanation for the delay of the fifth season due to COVID-19 has been communicated.
However, anyone hoping for a full-fledged, multi-part series will be disappointed by what they find in the store.
The remarkable animation series will now be wrapped up in a two-part film. Fans who do not want the series to go on for longer than necessary will likely approve of this choice, while those who expected a proper series will be disappointed. Some fans, however, are relieved to learn that they will receive Season 5 of Haikyuu sooner rather than later. If all goes according to plan, it will be available to the public in August of 2023.

Synopsis

Hinata vows to himself that he will destroy Kageyama no matter what it takes. After finishing eighth grade, he applies to and is accepted to Karasuno High School, where he plays volleyball. However, he soon learns that his former adversary, Kageyama, is now a member of his squad.
The Long-Awaited Date for Haikyuu Season 5
There’s no getting around the reality that we don’t know how long it’ll take to make things as before, and as a result, many of the planned anime that was intended to be published in 2020-21 have been pushed back. However, this 2022 event might be a difficult time for many anime because it will reveal the future of so many great works. It was announced back in October of 2021 that the next event Haikyuu will be hosting would have a jump studio stage for the show. Why? Since it’s Haikyuu’s tenth birthday today!
According to the official Jump Festa Twitter, there will be a special panel discussion devoted to Season 5 of Haikyuu, which will clear up any remaining questions fans may have about the anime. Ayumu Murase and Kaito Ishikawa will be the show’s co-hosts. The event might also serve as the premiere of the season five promotional image for Haikyuu. And if that occurs, it will come as a massive shock to the audience. The Shonen Jump news magazine has also teased the new details about the series that would be detailed on the day of Jump Festa 20202.
Given that the manga finished quite some time ago, it’s probable that they’ll announce plans for future production and a release date, both of which will be in 2022. In the second part of the fourth season, Haikyuu!! In To the Top, Karasuno and Inarizaki were the two teams who squared off against one another. Everyone knows that the Karasuno triumphed, thus they should go on to a new opponent. The 2018 season will see a showdown between Karasuno and their longtime Tokyo rivals, Nekomo.
