In One Piece Episode 1051, Luffy and Kaido have a magnificent visual showdown. A Legend Begins Once More! is the title of this instalment. The long-awaited showdown between Kaido and Luffy commences in Luffy’s Fist Roars in the Sky. In this episode, the guy who used the Gum-Gum Fruit, who had previously relied on Yamato and Momonosuke for help, states fairly boldly that he plans to take on the commander of the Animal Kingdom Pirates all by himself. The last episode showed Luffy assisting Momonosuke with a very unique method in order to help him face his worries. The latter now has other duties to perform while Luffy takes care of the primary problem.

Luffy and Kaido tear the clouds apart. In One Piece Episode 1051, Luffy vows to vanquish Kaido by any means necessary. As long as he’s still breathing, in his mind, he has an endless supply of opportunities to win. When Luffy and Yamato collide, shockwaves and sparkles fly in every direction from the collision. The latter makes one think of an entry in Oden’s diary, in which it is stated that the fighting between Roger and Whitebeard actually caused a rift in the skies.
Eventually, Momonosuke masters flight
In Episode 1051 of One Piece, Luffy orders Momonosuke and Yamato to find a means to halt Onigashima so that he may fight without violence. Kaido’s goal is to replace the Flower Capital on Onigashima with his New Onigashima, and he plans to do this by destroying the current capital. He plans to enslave all of Wano’s residents and force them to do his bidding. Kaido chases after Momonosuke and Yamato as they prepare to depart. Momonosuke has knocked off the edge of Onigashima despite Yamato’s block and Luffy’s hold on Kaido. In the air following him, Yamato explains that dragons make clouds and ride them to soar. After this, Momonosuke is able to master flight.
Newfound fortitude gives the Straw Hats and their friends a fighting chance
The news that Luffy has returned to battle Kaido once more has the Straw Hat pirates and their friends overjoyed. Since Sanji and Zoro have a different vision of the future than the King and Queen, they ignore their predictions that Kaido would succeed them as Pirate King and that Luffy’s return will amount to nothing because he has already lost once. Similar to how Oden’s presence motivates everyone else, Kawamatsu notes that Luffy’s presence does the same. Meanwhile, when Luffy and Kaido’s battle removed the clouds that had obscured the moon, the Minks regained the upper hand in One Piece Episode 1051. Therefore, Inuarashi and Nekomamushi take on their Sulong forms and triumph against Jack and Perosepro.
Here’s a rundown of what happened in One Piece Episode 1050
At the start of One Piece Episode 1050, Luffy thanked Yamato for fending off Kaido. When Momonosuke transformed into a dragon, Kaido didn’t recognise him and questioned who he was. In response, our protagonist announced himself to be the new Shogun of Wano.
Momonosuke showed courage by being clean about his origins to Kaido, but he was no match for Kaido’s strength and could not employ dragon powers. On the other hand, Luffy convinced him to bite the Emperor of the Sea, which seemed to calm him down. Meanwhile, it became clear that the Mink people were in a bind. As a result of their battle, the two dragons lost their Sulong forms and clouds covered the moon. Inuarashi and Nekomamushi were unable to keep up with Jack and Perospero for long, and they eventually gave up the fight.
