Captive Slaves, Boruto Episode 288 will air on February 19, 2023. However, the promo has already been shown and it features Eida, who, as we learned in the last episode, looks to be crucial to Code’s plans to become an Otsutsuki. Amado created the cyborg Eida, who possesses powers superior to Jigen’s and appears to be capable of counteracting Code. Since the episode is based on Eida, chapter 57 of the manga, you can see why she’s getting so much attention. The enigmatic cyborg is one of the most powerful people in Boruto’s universe, and fans may expect to hear about her two astonishing talents.
The next Boruto episode 288 teaser shows how easily Eida may either help Kawaki or thwart his objectives. The promo for Boruto episode 288 shows Code being disappointed in himself for failing to murder Eida after she showed little interest in the problem he had brought to her attention. After this, he hears Bug’s voice warning him not to undervalue her. He should have heeded his warnings and investigated her whole range of skills before opting to wake her. She surprised him by turning out to be more than just an underlying or foot soldier.
To find out why Code was unable to kill Eida when she challenged him, tune in next week for the next episode. In addition to her omniscience, she definitely possesses some other, equally important abilities. Boruto, Sarada, and Kawaki may be seen in the preview debating, probably on how to handle Code.
In episode 287 of Boruto, Eida makes an appearance.
After a battle with several guards who don’t know Boro is dead, Code is seen entering the Boro cult facility in Boruto episode 287. Inside, he saw Bug and chatted with him briefly before asking about Eida, the cyborg. After hearing that she was “the one who knows everything in the world,” Code had come to find her. Amado had previously built other cyborgs with higher talents than Jigen, but Jigen had ordered that they be destroyed. However, Boro had secreted the cybernetic beings away to his base in the snowy mountains.
Code and Bug went into the chamber containing the cryogenic capsule containing Eida. Bug tried to forewarn Code that nobody could make her serve them, but Code was unfazed since he knew he could just kill her if things went wrong. Code made a death threat after Eida showed disobedience after being woken up. At one point, she dared Code to really cut her neck, as he had intended to do.
