Chapter 78 of Boruto details the chaos that ensues once it is learned that both Naruto and Hinata have vanished. Recap of events in Boruto Chapter 77

She seemed fragile, so he didn’t understand why he was getting the idea that she was anything but. Meanwhile, Kawaki showed up at Naruto’s house, thanked him once again, and promised to shield him from the Ohtsutsuki Clan if he helped him get rid of them. This would also apply to Boruto, who Momoshiki was only waiting to take over. Kawaki locked Hinata and Naruto away to another dimension before they could do anything.
