On February 8, spoilers and raw scans for the next issue of Jujutsu Kaisen were made public, revealing some genuinely stunning follow-ups to prior incidents. Alleged teasers and raw scans showed Sukuna (now in Megumi’s body) decisively eliminating Yuji Itadori from the fight, and the issue ended with hints that Hana Kurusu and Angel would soon follow suit. Spoilers and raw scans for the upcoming episode of Jujutsu Kaisen claim to show Sukuna invoking a Mothra-esque version of Nue utilising Megumi’s Ten Shadows Technique.
As stunning as this demonstration of the Cursed Technique is on its own, many fans have speculated about what Megumi Fushiguro’s other powers would look like with Sukuna in command. Many people are interested in Megumi’s unfinished Domain Expansion, Chimera Shadow Garden.

Sukuna reveals to us, spoiler-style, at the start of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 213, that he has seen the promise in Megumi’s Cursed Technique but also detected resistance from him. He compares Megumi to Yuji and labels her a prison rather than a vessel. As a horrified Megumi calls out from the sidelines, fingerless Yuji watches and listens as Sukuna says that he was waiting for her soul to crack. Then, Sukuna gives Yuji a good punch, sending him falling through many buildings and attracting the attention of Fumihiko Takaba and Maki Zenin. Sukuna complains that bugs appear out of nowhere as he and his allies prepare to use Megumi’s Cursed Technique to call forth Nue. Nue in Sukuna’s rendition is substantially bigger, around the same size as Mothra in the Godzilla films.
Nue, as revealed in the chapter 213 spoilers of Jujutsu Kaisen, unleashes massive lightning bolts when Hana regains consciousness. Angel uses the Purification Light on Megumi, which causes her to scream, but Angel retorts that it’s necessary because Megumi is housing “The Fallen.” Then, as a huge sign materialises over the city, Hana begins to chant, employing her Cursed Technique in an effort to separate Sukuna from Megumi. Megumi has something pulled from her as Hana uses the Cursed Technique she and Angel developed. As she yells that Megumi is hers, a voice responds, “I remember,” and the scars left by Sukuna on Megumi vanish. Despite Angel’s concerns, Hana lets whatever it is hug her, and it appears to be Megumi. It turns out to be Sukuna, who opens his lips wide as if to devour them whole.
What may have been with Megumi
The latest raw scans and supposed Jujutsu Kaisen spoilers show that Megumi Fushiguro’s Cursed Technique has monster potential. While not verified, it is believed that all of the Shikigami contained inside the Ten Shadows Technique, including Mahoraga, has the ability to grow to Nue’s size and strength. If the Mahoraga’s capacity to “adapt to any and all occurrences” is as good as it sounds, a supersized version of the creature may be an invincible adversary. Since even a regular Mahoraga was able to challenge 15-finger Sukuna in the Shibuya Incident arc, a more potent version could be able to challenge Satoru Gojo as well.
Furthermore, Megumi’s Domain Expansion, Chimera Shadow Garden, is affected. At the time of Jujutsu Kaisen, the last time his supporters saw him execute the technique, it was far from finished. It is generally accepted that even in its unfinished form, the Domain Expansion is one of the strongest in the series, so it stands to reason that Sukuna’s enhanced version would be much more powerful. There’s also the possibility that Sukuna can finish the Expansion or significantly alter its shape or spirit. This Sukuna-enhanced Chimera Shadow Garden Domain Expansion, depending on its final shape and power, might be quite potent.
Even without the aforementioned Mahoraga ramifications, this could be enough to defeat Satoru Gojo. However, this is highly speculative, given Sukuna has not even used a single Shikigami in the public releases and leaks of Jujutsu Kaisen. Fans may be seeing Sukuna being set up as an almost unstoppable ultimate villain if both of these things come to fruition in the following weeks of serialisation.
A Review of Chapter 212
Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 212 reveals that “Tsumiki” is actually a vessel for an old Jujutsu sorcerer who has been utilising his host’s brain to learn about the modern world. Tsumiki’s new rule for the Culling Game allows participants to freely join or leave the colonies, placing everyone in danger because any malicious person or spirit can freely assault those left in the colonies, whether they are fighting or not. The ancient sorcerer Yorozu, who is temporarily inhabiting Tsukimi’s body, immediately puts this new rule into practice by challenging Sukuna to a battle. By repeating the phrase “enchain,” Sukuna invokes the Binding Vow and gains control of Yuji’s body for one minute.
Having no recollection of the Vow is a requirement of it, and this is one of the things that Yuji must give up. Yuji added the stipulation that Sukuna couldn’t cause harm to anybody else during that time. To make matters worse, Yuji had forgotten to include himself in the stipulation. So, Sukuna may curse one of Yuji’s fingers with energy, cut it off, and make Megumi eat it. Megumi, to the horror of Yuji, who has lost the slits in his eyes, becomes Su kuna’s vessel. This points to the fact that Sukuna is no longer with him. Fans are worried about Megumi’s destiny since, while Yuji was very adept at surviving and keeping his selfhood despite Su kuna’s presence, there is no evidence to suggest that this will also be the case for him.
