Once again, spoilers for a forthcoming chapter of One Piece are available far in advance of the chapter’s official publication, and this time it’s because the series is returning later this week with Chapter 1074 after a long hiatus. The forthcoming chapter, as hinted at by the spoilers, will continue to centre mostly on Egghead Island while also continuing to look for Vegapunk. The Mark III deployed by Sentoumara will launch an assault on the CPO agents. Of course, the return of Vivi, who had been presumed dead by some readers for quite some time, is the chapter’s most exciting development. This text contains spoilers for One Piece Chapter 1074.
In the next section, dubbed “Mark III,” 50 units of the new Pacifista type, the Mark III, assault CPO agents who remained in the “Fabriophase” phase. They employ a slime-like shield dubbed “Bubble Shield,” a method created by Vegapunk, and they wear sunglasses and a variety of costumes. When compared to the prototypes Marine deployed in Marineford’s “Paramount War,” CPO agents note that the new Pacifistas are vastly improved. The new Pacifistas were freed by Sentoumaru, who also revealed that he had ordered them to help Vegapunk and the Straw Hats leave Egghead Island. The action then shifts to Stussy, who has arrived at the location where the four Seraphim are being held by the Vegapunk clones and the Straw Hat gang. Both Lucci and Kaku have crashed for the night. They separate to go for the actual Vegapunk, but Zoro and Luffy won’t come along, so Sanji suggests they tag along with Stussy. Fighting and running have taken their toll on Luffy, and he has broken his “DOM” shoes, which allow him to fly.
However, Zoro declines since he doesn’t want to risk getting lost in the laboratory. They reach the conclusion that they must remain and guard Lucci and Kaku. The following panel depicts Bonney in a memory realm that appears to be a grass field, and in which Vegapunk is not present. She then observes what appear to be individuals who are not Tenryuubito abusing a young Kuma under the shadow of a castle. He is coerced into going someplace he knows would end in his death. The following action occurs at Pythagoras’s laboratory, where he is attempting to locate the genuine Vegapunk. Just as he realises something is off, the section of the structure he is in detonates. The walls protecting the Frontier Dome have fallen once more, and Vega punk’s duplicates are powerless to repair them. If they try to leave right now, CPO will shoot them, therefore Shaka is trying to come up with a solution.
The action then shifts to the area outside of Egghead Island, where we see the World Economy Newspaper ships in the sky and, more crucially, Vivi in the ship alongside Morgans and Wapol. Wapol, who is also on the run from the World Government, advises Vivi to keep a low profile, as the latter’s listening devices may be concealed anywhere on the ship. Eventually, Morgan decides that “Yonkou “Straw Hat Luffy” seized Vegapunk as a prisoner, took over Egghead Island, and is poised to start a war against the Marines” is the best way to cover the news of Luffy’s presence on Egghead Island.
Angered by Morgans, Vivi declares that Luffy would never do such a thing and sends his men to collect some money from the World Government. Morgans becomes angry with Vivi and accuses her of teaching him how to conduct his job when he tells her she was sobbing yesterday. He continues by saying that he alone has the power to shock the globe and that it doesn’t matter if what he says is true or not because the newspaper is meant to be entertaining.
