About Chapter 184
Being the weakest is never entertaining. People tend to avoid and look down on those who are weak. They are constantly put through hell because of their inability to defend themselves against the powerful and they are crushed by those who do. But how many have the courage to keep going and make the most of every available chance to advance? However, for a select few, fate can be altered permanently. In Solo Leveling, we follow the journey of a guy who was once among the weakest but who, through a combination of chance and hard effort, rose to become the strongest.
Authored by Chugong, it is a popular Korean online book that has been published in Kakao’s digital comic and KakaoPage. D&C Media eventually released the online novel. Here’s a quick overview before we get into the specifics of when you may expect to read chapter 184. It all started when “The Gate” appeared, a strange doorway through which supernatural forces and creatures from another dimension might enter our own. When the terrifying monsters first showed up, something had to be devised to fight back and keep the populace safe. Hunters are humans that have been endowed with extraordinary skills that allow them to efficiently combat these creatures. From S (the most powerful) to E (the weakest), the Hunters are rated in strength (the weakest).
Sung Jin-Woo, our protagonist, is a poor sap who ended up in the lowest tier of Hunters, E. Since he had to help pay for his mother’s medical bills, he remains committed to hunting monsters of lesser rank. That was about to alter, though. When Jin Woo’s mission went wrong, he feared no one would ever come to his aid. Jin Woo awakens in a hospital with a screen hanging above him, which displays a “Quest Log” that demands he undergoes a strenuous training regimen or else. Accepting the challenge, Jin Woo devotes his life to slaying monsters and mankind alike, the latter of whom become his familiars upon defeat. The software has the potential to become Jin Woo the most powerful Hunter ever, he thinks to himself.

Recap of Chapter 183 of “Solo Leveling”
As the chapter opens, the Association Chairman is meeting with Hunter Sung Jin-Woo. The chairman assured everyone that he had spoken with the instructor and that Jin Woo’s return would not be a problem. When Jin Woo requests to view the monster’s photo, he shows it to him. Jin Woo asked the chairman whether he trusted him, mindful of the fact that seemingly insignificant actions can have far-reaching consequences. After he confirms that he is, Jin Woo proceeds to show him psychic images of his whole life up to that point. The legends of The Gate, monsters, Hunters, kings, and queens, as well as the past, present, and future, all appeared in the visions. The chairman’s horror was palpable, and he asked Jin Woo whether he intended to take on the monsters by himself. With a positive response, Jin Woo said yes.
They go for a walk in the park together. For the last 27 years, Jin Woo informed him, he has battled demons in the void between worlds. Jin Woo was asked by the chairman whether he would be interested in joining the National Police, and after some thought, he declined. A peculiar event occurred a few months later. A guy crossing the desert described a peculiar phenomenon in which the sky began to exhibit fractures like glass about to break. Jin-Woo senses an ominous presence from far away. For answers regarding the strange happenings, he seeks out a meeting with a Ruler. He then directly addresses the Ruler, asking whether this was their doing.
The RUler retorts that they were innocent and had nothing to do with the incident. Jin Woo asked whether they knew what caused them, and he said that aliens who were driven out by the army of the skies are now aiming for Earth. Titans are a race that subsists on the rocky worlds where life can thrive. As the aliens search for any sign of the Monarch, a being with immense power, Jin Woo understands that he is to blame for their arrival on Earth. Jin Woo promises he would look after them. He visits the desert area where it all went down, and there he senses his adversaries’ ravenous appetite for his homeland. To meet him face to face, he challenges a Monarch and a Hunter to come to him.
