Despite all the trouble they had because of Mononosuke’s aversion to heights, Luffy and Mononosuke made it to their destination in time. With them back on board to lend a hand to Yamato, fans are anticipating a fierce and action-packed battle. Episode 1050 of One Piece will include a fight between Kaido and Mononosuke in their dragon forms, with Nekomushi reverting to his human form. The episode is titled Two Dragons Face Off! Momonosuke’s Determination! The supporters will be kept abreast of all the action happening on the roof.

Recap of Episode 1049
Fear of heights continued to be a problem for Mononosuke, while Kaido and Yamato continued to battle to the point that Yamato injured his father. The people of Wano, Kaido joked, would never trust his son since he was his (Kaido’s) son. He continued his mockery by claiming he had never been pals with anyone. But Yamato refuted it by mentioning Ace and the samurai from his youth who had helped him stay alive. Yamato blamed his father for the deaths of everyone who had befriended him, even the samurai, as pointed out by Kaido. When asked why they had to die, Kaido explained that they were blocking his path to teaching his kid a valuable lesson.

Next, we watched Luffy lose his temper with Mononosuke and do anything he could to get him to fly. Finally, Mononosuke ascended into the air, but he closed his eyes while Luffy attempted to give him directions. They ended up crashing through the wall of the Performance Floor, which caused the ceiling to collapse. The sight of Kaido and Yamato on the roof made Mononosuke open his eyes. Yamato, intending to strike his father with the Shinsoku Hakujaku method, switched to Gear 4, whereupon Luffy joined him and utilised his Snakeman: Jet Culverin technique, sending Kaido flying.
