Episode 17 of Season 6 is briefly summarised
In the opening scene of episode 17 of My Hero Academia Season 6, we see the Todoroki family gathered in Endeavor’s hospital room to talk about their history and how it has affected Toya. The episode opened with the Pro hero paying a visit to the Himuras so that he might marry Rei and have a kid that possessed both the fire and ice quirks that he had always wanted. Toya, Endeavor’s eldest son, was eager to live up to his high expectations for his offspring. But he inherited his mother’s constitution, leaving him susceptible to his own flames, which were more potent than Endeavor’s.
Endeavour had additional children, including Fuyumi, Natsuo, and eventually Shoto, since she knew she couldn’t convince the kid to give up on his ambition to become stronger than All Might. Toya’s abandonment issues reached a boiling point when he saw that his youngest sibling had acquired the peculiarities that Endeavor had desired. He made an unsuccessful effort to harm the infant. The event caused Endeavor to totally ignore Toya and to separate Shoto from his siblings so that they may devote all of their attention to their brother’s training.
As shown in Episode 17 of Season 6 of My Hero Academia, Toya kept up his covert training on the adjacent mountain, having realised that the strength of his flames was directly related to his feelings. The oldest Todoroki’s flames became brilliant blue when he reached puberty, and the joyful youngster hastened to tell his father about the transformation, urging him to visit Sekoto Peak on his next vacation. But this just made Endeavor more furious, and he began to verbally criticise his wife since she hadn’t tried to stop their kid from exercising his peculiar talent. Because he didn’t go up the mountain, a distraught Toya let his eccentricity get the best of him, and the forest was destroyed in a fire.
The focus of episode 17 of season 6 of My Hero Academia then shifted to the present, when Endeavor, Rei, Fuyumi, and Natsuo all admitted fault for ignoring the issue and allowing Toya’s addiction to grow. They urged Endeavor to take a position because it was his desire that stoked the flames of rebellion within Toya, giving rise to Dabi. A pair of bystanders, Hawks and Best Jeanist overheard the exchange and volunteered to work with the hero, saying that while it was still a mystery how Toya had survived, the history of the Todoroki family had provided some light on their knowledge of what inspired Dabi’s actions.
Hawks then brought up “One For All” and probed Endeavor with a question about its significance. Hawks and Best Jeanist paid a visit to the green-haired hero student because he recalled that Deku had used the words. All Might sat at Deku’s side at the end of My Hero Academia season 6 episode 17, sensing that his protege was presently communicating with the former holders in the vestige realm thanks to the remnants of OFA within him.

Latest Updates for Episode 18
My Hero Academia episode 18 will premiere on Nippon TV and Yomiuri TV in Japan on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. JST, and the teaser photos and synopsis have finally been revealed by Studio BONES. Crunchyroll will host the episode, titled “Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki,” for streaming throughout the world, with the exception of a few places where the anime will be hosted by Netflix instead. The anime previously showed how Toya Todoroki’s obsession with strength was sparked by Endeavor in his background, which was shown in the previous episode. Toya tortured his loved ones and then, overcome by his own feelings, burned himself in an accident. Later, Hawks and Best Jeanist joined forces with the top hero in Endeavor’s quarters.
In the next episode 18 of My Hero Academia, Izuku will presumably gain some insight into One For All. Episode 18 of My Hero Academia season 6 is named Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki, and it picks off directly where the last episode left off, with Hawks wanting to find out more about One For All. Ultimately, the Hawks were able to gain the information they needed from Midoriya thanks to a tip dropped by Endeavor about the path Shigaraki was taking in pursuit of him. But because Midoriya was still unconscious, that was out of the question. So it looks like Hawks will have to consult All Might to learn more about One For All.
The teaser for the next episode, however, suggests that much of the programme will centre on Izuku’s dream journey to the land of One For All. Here, he’ll finally get to meet the other seven people who have used One For All before, with the exception of All Might. They plan to come clean about the quirk and themselves, and then put Midoriya’s resolve to end All For One to the test. Midoriya will be asked by the former One For All users whether he can dispose of Shigraraki Tomura. His fans will have to wait to find out the outcome, as his reaction will shape his future adventures.
The populace has lost faith in heroes, leading to various criminals causing havoc in the city. The teaser suggests that Hawks and Best Jeanist may assist Endeavor in holding a news conference about his family. As both Midoriya and Endeavor are about to embark on a new course of action, the forthcoming episode will likely determine the course of the anime.
Details about the upcoming 18th episode of My Hero Academia’s sixth season
A sneak peek at next week’s episode of My Hero Academia reveals that while under the influence of the vestige world’s drugs, Deku will see former OFA holders who will each disclose more about their unique personalities. The narrator also hints that Deku’s determination as the present holder of One For All would be put to the test when the former heroes question him whether he can slay Tomura Shigaraki.
Hawks, Best Jeanist, and the media all took note of Endeavor’s repeated use of the slogan “One For All” during their battle against the Decay Villain in Episode 17 of Season 6. They speculated that the term may be connected to the organisation All For One. When the heroes ultimately face All Might and Deku in My Hero Academia season 6, episode 18, they may discover the mysteries of OFA and understand why Shigaraki had targeted Deku following his awakening.
