My Hero Academia episode 18 will premiere on Nippon TV and Yomiuri TV in Japan on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. JST, and the teaser photos and synopsis have finally been revealed by Studio BONES. Crunchyroll will host the episode, titled “Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki,” for streaming throughout the world, with the exception of a few places where the anime will be hosted by Netflix instead. The anime previously showed how Toya Todoroki’s obsession with strength was sparked by Endeavor in his background, which was shown in the previous episode. Toya tortured his loved ones and then, overcome by his own feelings, burned himself in an accident. Later, Hawks and Best Jeanist joined forces with the top hero in Endeavor’s quarters.
In the next episode 18 of My Hero Academia, Izuku will presumably gain some insight into One For All. Episode 18 of My Hero Academia season 6 is named Izuku Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki, and it picks off directly where the last episode left off, with Hawks wanting to find out more about One For All. Ultimately, the Hawks were able to gain the information they needed from Midoriya thanks to a tip dropped by Endeavor about the path Shigaraki was taking in pursuit of him. But because Midoriya was still unconscious, that was out of the question. So it looks like Hawks will have to consult All Might to learn more about One For All.
The teaser for the next episode, however, suggests that much of the programme will centre on Izuku’s dream journey to the land of One For All. Here, he’ll finally get to meet the other seven people who have used One For All before, with the exception of All Might. They plan to come clean about the quirk and themselves, and then put Midoriya’s resolve to end All For One to the test. Midoriya will be asked by the former One For All users whether he can dispose of Shigraraki Tomura. His fans will have to wait to find out the outcome, as his reaction will shape his future adventures.
The populace has lost faith in heroes, leading to various criminals causing havoc in the city. The teaser suggests that Hawks and Best Jeanist may assist Endeavor in holding a news conference about his family. As both Midoriya and Endeavor are about to embark on a new course of action, the forthcoming episode will likely determine the course of the anime.
