Fans of the original manga by Khei Horikoshi have been celebrating the current turn of events and anxiously awaiting the release of chapter 380 of My Hero Academia since the most recent issue. One of the most well-received shocks in the series’ final arc so far has been Tomura Shigaraki’s reappearance, along with numerous other villains who, unlike Tomura, shift to the good side. Fans are so invested in the series at this point that they have even begun speculating about what will happen in the next chapter (and beyond), My Hero Academia Chapter 380.
Fans are convinced that the next issue will follow a very apparent path, despite the fact that no verifiable spoiler material has been revealed for the future issue as of the writing of this article. Chapter 380 of My Hero Academia will most likely contain a showdown between Deku and Shigaraki, with the latter’s present state of mind and intentions being the focal point of the story. Deku and Shigaraki will likely be at the centre of chapter 380 spoilers for My Hero Academia. Fans may hear from the people in the floating coffin or in Tsukauchi’s war room about the situation before the focus becomes exclusive to them.
Whatever the case may be, this is expected to be a brief scene in which others are informed of the present state of affairs. After this happens, spectators may watch Deku take on Shigaraki, who will likely engage in some small conversation before getting down to business. Deku’s Gearshift time restriction means that the fight may be pointless, but it’s possible that it’s being staged for a broader narrative reason that will become clear in due time. Nonetheless, it’s quite improbable that Deku’s delayed progress on this front will be disclosed. In addition, My Hero Academia chapter 380 will mostly feature two characters engaging in a fistfight. Fans may once again witness Shigaraki use combo techniques à la All For One now that he has command of all of his Quirks.
There’s little chance any of these will seriously hurt Deku right now. Instead, it’s more likely that Deku would use the issue to do as much damage as can before his Gearshift cooldown. Once this occurs, the specific effects on his body are unknown. Yet, according to the Second User’s account, it appears that Deku will be temporarily rendered defenceless.
This may foreshadow a future in My Hero Academia, post-chapter 380, in which Deku is obliged to directly counter some of Shigaraki’s assaults. Spoilers for Chapter 380 are unlikely to reveal this, though, and will instead focus on Deku launching assaults while he still can.
An update from the Second User’s sense of time will probably show up here, serving as a foreboding warning of what is in store for Deku in the not-too-distant future. It’s possible that this reminder will be the final line of the chapter, creating a thrilling cliffhanger for the next issue. However, all of this is conjectural; as of this writing, no credible spoiler material for the chapter has been made public. Therefore, readers should approach the chapter with an open mind and be prepared for any spoilers they may encounter.
