Fans were excited about the upcoming chapter 210 of Jujutsu Kaisen when leaks showed the connection between Hana Kurusu and Megumi Fushiguro via raw scans. On November 14, the military assault described in Chapter 209 began, focusing primarily on the situation in the Tokyo No.1 colony. The soldiers finally caught up to Yuji, Megumi, Hana, and Takaba, and tried to disorient them with a shock grenade. Megumi prepared to utilise his method to take down and question their pursuers as Yuji kicked the explosive away and Takaba distracted the troops’ attention. Hana and Megumi’s childhood is depicted in chapter 210 of Jujutsu Kaisen, and Yuji’s steadfast defence of Nobara’s honour is demonstrated in the next chapter.
Megumi discovers Kenjaku’s true intentions
In the prologue to Chapter 210 of Jujutsu Kaisen, titled “Offering to the Unknown, Part 2,” we have a flashback to when a cursed ghost fed three youngsters within a deserted building. Chapter 210 returns to the present, where a soldier is being interrogated by the sorcerers, but before anything further is disclosed about the children, it is said that they all understood that the curse was not their mother. The Japanese soldier guiding the foreign armed forces says that his country’s military has been tasked with kidnapping sorcerers for the purpose of studying them as a potential new source of energy.
The soldier replies to Hana’s question of why Japan hasn’t become energy independent by saying that the Jujutsu HQ ruling the country is too arrogant to take the lead in the propagation of cursed energy. The speaker continues by saying that it never would have caught on elsewhere since Japanese people are so focused on taking responsibility for their own actions. The Ten Shadows sorcerer Megumi recalls Reggie’s idea in chapter 210 of Jujutsu Kaisen, realising that Kenjaku had brought the troops to the colonies under false pretences in order to utilise them as fodder for curses. Megumi deduces that the ceremony preceding Tengen’s merging with Japan’s non-sorcerer population requires the deaths of the troops, which she believes would enhance cursed energy in the colonies.
Megumi, familiar with the cunning nature of the body-hopping sorcerer Kenjaku, surmises that he has made contact with other nations and may have staged the Culling Game as a smokescreen for his ambitions. Yuji and Hana get into an argument when Yuji decides to aid the troops, causing Takaba to wonder why they should aid those who planned to do experiments on them. Megumi is concerned that everyone would be swept up in the union with Tengen if they let Kenjaku complete the rite. As seen in Chapter 210 of Jujutsu Kaisen, however, the Angel explains that it is futile to try to shield the troops because the Tokyo No.1 colony has already amassed enough cursed energy. In his argument against Angel’s judgement, Yuji insists that Angel’s actions to save lives were not rendered meaningless. As the latter points out, the curse within Hana’s body has a symbiotic relationship with her body, therefore putting Hana in danger is like endangering the curse itself. To the wing sorcerer’s annoyance, Yuji explains that he doesn’t trust them and begs him not to interfere with their plans because they were never a team, to begin with. It’s awkward whether you’re talking about Hana or the Angel, so she asks whether the latter is the target.
Wraiths are after the troops
The cursed spirit who is murdering the foreign troops and using them as bait to attract weaker curses is seen in chapter 210 of Jujutsu Kaisen when it is seen perched atop a large structure and hanging a corpse from a gigantic fishing hook to weaker curses below.
Chapter 210 of Jujutsu Kaisen depicts the predatory curse choosing its next target from a pile of prostrate soldiers; this particular victim is the soldier whom the sorcerers had rescued and interrogated earlier in the chapter.
The soldier remembers moments when he felt ready to die at any moment, but now, as the cursed spirit tries to hook him, he feels his determination ebbing. panels of Yuji and Megumi strolling through an alley after a quarrel with Hana is alternated with this. Megumi, after Hana and the Angel, has left the room, asks Yuji if his statement about not trusting them was a reference to creatures like Sukuna and the Angel, despite the Ten Shadows sorcerer’s insistence that it is unlike the pink-haired kid to be so antagonistic.
What led up to Hana
Chapter 210 of Jujutsu Kaisen then goes back to the flashback at the opening of the episode, which reveals that Hana was confined to her house by the cursed spirit for over a year since it murdered any children who protested or tried to escape. In the end, she managed to get away by following a white dog with a fluffy tail, at which point the residents called the police and took custody of her. Now, Hana witnesses the reunion of Megumi and the Divine Dog after she and Gojo had been out for a stroll. Hana is staring at the Six Eyes sorcerer, and the sorcerer taunts the little lad so that she could fall in love with him. Megumi, however, pays no attention to the sorcerer’s comments.
Hana rescues the soldier and reveals that she had hoped to see her benefactor again and is now motivated to do good deeds so that she will be worthy to stand by his side when they do. The discourse between the Jujutsu High sorcerers resumes in Chapter 210 of Jujutsu Kaisen, where Megumi remarks that he had anticipated Yuji to be more caring for Hana. The sorcerer with the pink hair admits that he has been worried about Hana replacing Nobara ever since they reassembled. In the last moments of Chapter 210 of Jujutsu Kaisen, Megumi scolds Yuji and urges him to apologise to Hana, following which the four players get back together.
Concluding Ideas
Although the means by which Hana Kurusu became a conduit for the Angel are not explained, chapter 210 of Jujutsu Kaisen reveals her background and confirms her status as a contemporary sorcerer. In light of the group’s recent reconciliation and shared commitment to assisting the colony’s non-sorcerers, the next chapter may examine developments in the other colonies, such as Sendai and Tokyo’s No. 2 colony.
