About the previous episode
In episode 15 of Blue Lock, titled “Devour,” Isagi was having trouble making an impression until he noticed Naruhaya’s weapon and devoured it. He avoided Barou and scored the game-winning goal by using an off-the-ball sprint and a blind area. Afterwards, Naruhaya praised Isagi for his remarkable versatility and wished him well. Barou was selected by the latter pair and Nagi was to be their new partner.
