Images of the Lab Stratum are interwoven with scenes of Rob Lucci and Stussy, who are in charge of CP0, as the Seraphim wait for instructions on the following page. Shortly after Sanji and Franky leave, Vegapunks Edison and Lilith also leave, but for what appears to be a separate location. Once Stussy’s identity as a MADS clone of former Rocks Pirate member Miss Buckingham Stussy is exposed, it becomes clear that she is the one who bit him and knocked him unconscious. Ahead of this, it was established that the Admiral has something major in store for the Straw Hats and would do anything he can to prevent them from leaving Egghead island. Many readers, though, think he’s grossly underestimating the strength of the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji make up the Monster Trio, and the Admiral would have a hard time dealing with them on his own; adding Jinbei to the mix would be disastrous.

In order to prevent the Straw Hats and Dr Vegapunk from leaving, Kizaru despatched every available battleship to Egghead island in One Piece chapter 1071. Fans, however, are confident that Luffy and his Gear 5 will make short work of Kizaru. The Captain of the Straw Hats is in a league of his own after his Gear 5 awakening, which allows him to easily defeat even formidable foes like Emperor Kaido and Rob Lucci. Since Yonkos are roughly as powerful as Admirals, this puts the odds of victory to Luffy’s advantage. Kizaru, who is about on par with Kaido in terms of power, will have a hard time keeping up with Luffy and his ridiculously over-the-top Gear 5-level abilities. In the last episode, we saw Luffy make a pair of sunglasses out of his hair. As such, reality manipulation appears to be one of Gear 5 mode’s talents.
If Luffy confronts Kizaru in One Piece chapter 1072, we may get to witness a more potent degree of this skill. There’s little doubt that Luffy and his gang would hinder Kizaru’s chances of victory. Zoro finally met CP0 agent Kaku in chapter 1071. This indicates that he will have to help Luffy in his struggle against Admiral Kizaru only after he has finished off Kaku in the next chapter. He was able to win a fight against Who’s Who and survive a meeting with Big Mom in the Wano Arc. This demonstrates that he can compete with formidable foes and might be of great use to Luffy and the others.
