Leaked Spoilers for Chapter 1072
One Piece Chapter 1072 will resume serialisation in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine after a brief hiatus on January 23, 2023, at 12 am JST. Many of Eiichiro Oda’s readers are looking forward to what they hope will be a more compelling storyline and fiercer conflict in the New Year’s instalment. The latest chapter of the manga will conclude several lingering plot threads. Reddit has posted a complete synopsis of the episode. Without further ado, let’s get into the One Piece Chapter 1072 spoilers. Cover images are recapped in One Piece Chapter 1072, “The Weight of Memories.” A long interval appears to have passed in the cover’s illustration. There are several outfit changes between the roles of Judge, Queen, and Caesar. The Queen is cooking up a batch of viruses, the Judge is forging a spear, and Caesar is developing a devil fruit.
Dr Vegapunk’s notebook entries from the MADS era provide the opening narration of One Piece Chapter 1072. In this context, “reading” a text refers to an action taking place in the present tense, as opposed to a flashback. Vegapunk has stated that he considers “her” to be a real human being, regardless of whether or not the rest of the world agrees. As Vegapunk put it, “this experiment” will be the beginning of their journey to harmony.
In order to win over Vegapunk’s heart, Bonney dresses up as a child and acts out a sob story. Bonney transforms into an adult version of herself if Vegapunk is nearby. She has the appearance of a large balloon. Bonney takes a bunch of diamonds and ages off Vegapunk’s back. Then she makes a talking baby out of Vegapunk (probably thanks to his genius brain).
As Vegapunk would say, “What? All those precious stones make up my age!!
-Vegapunk states once again that he is unable to explain to Bonney why he changed into Kuma in the first place. Vegapunk told Kuma that he wouldn’t tell Bonney the real reason since it would damage her feelings. A bear paw appears on the door of one of the rooms as Bonney turns around. Bonney approaches the door and, like Shinobu in Wanokuni, smashes the lock by ageing it up.

We’ll also be showing Vegapunk and Kuma flashbacks. Kuma wears white hospital clothing without a cap, revealing his hair and glasses, resembling what Vegapunk would have worn in the past. Vegapunk revealed to Kuma that a West Blue scientist had found that the average individual loses 21 grammes of weight in the afterlife. As a result, the soul of a human being weighs 21 grammes. In addition, Kuma’s “Nikyu Nikyu no Mi” talent is explained by Vegapunk. He claims that Kuma’s ability can materialise concepts that are otherwise abstract. Kuma, for instance, may change the sensation of “pain” into a type of energy that can be physically expulsed from the body. -Vegapunk is curious about the “weight” and “magnitude” of human memory, so he requests that Kuma attempt to retrieve his own memories. Kuma is reluctant to undertake it due to embarrassment, but Vegaunk encourages him to for the sake of research.
Resuming the present, we see Bonney walk through the door with the bear paw on it. Bonney observes Kuma’s energy, which is formed like a bear’s paw, in the centre of the room. Toward it, she moves. Simultaneously, the setting is altered to reveal what Real Kuma is up to. The Marines shoot him down as he attempts to scale the “Red Line” inside the Red Fort. The scene changes back to just before Bonney makes contact with the power source. Vegapunk warns Bonney, “Don’t touch that!! That hurts Kuma so much!! Bonney: “I have seen my dad at work. There is no suffering here. That’s what he calls his “memories,” right? However, Bonney reaches out her palm to try to grasp the power. At this moment, Zoro and Kaku are engaged in their epic “Labo” combat. Kaku is employing a version of his awakening that is reminiscent of Lucci’s. Dark-flame hair and a flowing stream of “dark fire wraps” now adorn Kaku’s shoulders as he transforms between his Human and Beast forms.
-Kaku repurposes several classic moves, like the “Bigan” (Nose Pistol), into the “Kyoku Bigan: Kirimangyro” (Extreme Nose Pistol: Spinning Snake). But Zoro effortlessly knocks Kaku to the ground and saves the Thousand Sunny from harm while Brook stands guard.
There is an unexpected revelation that the four Seraphim also ascended to the “Labo” without being commanded to do so. The Seraphim step up to help CPOs of their own will, proving that their personalities give them the freedom to respond and make judgements in response to the changing battlefield conditions. -However, Vegapunk remains more powerful than CPO, thus this is not what CPO wants. In an effort to reclaim Seraphim, Edison and Lilith have rushed outside. Seeing that Zoro and Brook need help, Sanji and Franky head over to help them out. A group of Straw Hats, including Luffy, hole up in the lab overnight. -Lucci gives Seraphim instructions to destroy the “Labo” so that Vegapunk can’t escape. When 4 seraphs begin their assault on the “Labo” building, they do it as a unit. Unfortunately, Kaku was bitten on the neck and promptly fell asleep. Insight about who could be able to defeat one Kaku or Stussy will also be provided in One Piece Chapter 1072. Only a person with bat wings and vampire fangs can defeat them. Stussy is revealed to be a clone of “Ms Buckingham Stussy,” a member of the Rock Pirates. Stussy is the first human to be cloned using MADS with 100% success. “I just put Kaku to sleep, Lucci,” Stussy said. And I really need you to go to sleep now, too!

New Updates
The publication time of One Piece chapter 1072 is set for January 23, 2023, at 12 am JST. On January 17 and 18, the chapter’s summary, raw scans, and spoilers were all made public, giving fans a wealth of fresh information and building anticipation for the impending chapter. Raw scans feature several interesting events, including Stussy’s revelation of the Devil Fruit and Kaku’s Awakened Devil Fruit metamorphosis. The scans also zeroed down on Bonney and Dr Vegapunk, shedding light on previously unknown information regarding Kuma’s past.
Bonney learns Kuma’s past and the truth about Stussy’s true identity in One Piece chapter 1072. At the outset of the raw scans for Chapter 1072 of One Piece, we see Dr Vegapunk and Bonney attempting to coerce Vegapunk into reverting Bartholomew Kuma back to his natural state. An older Bonney is comforting a younger Bonney who is weeping on the floor while Vegapunk gently approaches her. The glint in her eye, though, reveals that she is only pretending to be kind in order to get the drop on Vegapunk. As soon as Dr Vegapunk approaches, Bonney grows enormous, a grimace of anger spreading over her face, and chases after him. Once Bonney has Vegapunk in her possession, she uses the Devil Fruit’s transformational abilities to transform him into a miniature replica of himself. As the image cuts to Kuma climbing the Red Line, she yells something furiously to him. As a result, marines are dispatched to the scene to capture Kuma.
Above, we observe a wounded Kuma climbing the Red Line despite the warning shots from the marines. On Egghead Island, Bonney resumes her quarrel with Vegapunk by slamming him to the ground as she looks elsewhere. She goes through a door marked with a paw print and finds a chamber. She corrodes the lock with the power of the Devil Fruit, allowing her to enter. There, she sees her father’s paw print energy manifested in the form of a huge sphere. It appears that Vegapunk is yelling after Bonney, but she isn’t paying any attention to him. In this space, the paw print energy has enormous significance because of its connection to Kuma’s history. In this panel, we get a flashback to when Kuma was younger and he was chatting with Vegapunk. It’s as though he wants the scientist to do a favour for him. The text spoilers said that Kuma had requested that Vegapunk convert his recollections into paw print energy, and therefore it is likely that this is the situation depicted here.
Bonny is transfixed before the enormous orb of energy, and the memory abruptly stops as Vegapunk storms into the room in a huff. As the panel closes, the marines once again fire at Kuma. With her hand outstretched, Bonney telegraphs that she will be delving into her father’s past in this chapter. In One Piece chapter 1072, Bartholomew Kuma’s recollections may provide crucial plot details that have long been anticipated by readers. The action then moves to Lab Stratum, where Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and the rest of the gang are joined by Vegapunk Shaka.
Zoro and Kaku fight while Stussy presents the Bat Bat Devil Fruit
Similarly, raw scans of One Piece Chapter 1072 have surfaced, showing Zoro facing Kaku with Kaku’s Awakened Devil Fruit mutation in full effect. Nonetheless, Zoro is undaunted by Kaku’s blows, and he slams Kaku to the ground with a tremendous blow to the neck.
Before Vegapunk can issue further orders, Lucci has the Serpahims wipe out the Lab Stratum. As a result, Kaku is attacked from behind and severely injured by a bite. Lucci looks back at his attacker and sees Stussy sucking blood from her lips and sculpting new wings. She is later revealed to be No. 1 “Stussy,” the first successful cloning experiment conducted by MADS, as well as a clone of Buckingham Stussy and a member of The Rocks Pirates’ crew.
Lucci is taken aback by this turn of events and demands to know what Stussy is up to. Stussy explains that she was putting Kaku to bed and then asks Lucci to come to help her.
In One Piece Chapter 1072, Stussy is shown to be in possession of the Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit Batto Batto no Mi, Model: Vampire, according to teasers and raw scans. Because of her activities, many have hypothesised that she is actually Vegapunk’s hidden ally and that she would aid him and the Straw Hats in their escape from Egghead Island.
Raw Scan and Synopsis for One Piece Chapter 1072
In Chapter 1072 of One Piece, “The Weight Of Memories,” the Mads’ Judge, Ceaser, and Queen conduct some nasty experiments. The story opens with a young Bonney lying on the floor, sobbing for assistance. After assuming that Bonney is in danger, Vegapunk rushes to her aid, but Bonney uses her own abilities to convert Vegapunk into a kid as well. Despite Vegapunk’s best efforts to deflect Bonney’s question, she insisted on asking why Kuma had to lose his humanity. Kuma is making his way up the Red Line to visit Marie Gose as their cat-and-mouse game continues.
Bonney is adamant about finding out what happened to her father, but Vegapunks continues to refuse to inform her, claiming that doing so will only cause her pain. When Bonney inquires Vegapunk as to which room contains Kuma’s handprint, the door to that room opens. She sets out to locate a massive handprint that is said to contain Kuma’s memories. In a flashback, we see Kuma and Vegapunk talking about the “21 grammes of souls” experiment, with Vegapunk asking Kuma for assistance in measuring the weight of his memories. However, Bonney insists on touching the handprint bubble, claiming that it contains her father’s memories despite Vegapunk’s warnings that doing so would cause her grief.
Who is Stussy Really, Zoro vs. Kaku, and More?
Meanwhile, outside the lab, Lucci commands the Seraphim to launch an attack, prompting Lilith and Edison to assert their superiority and seize control of the angelic guardians. They are joined by Sanji and Franky. Zoro and Brook examine the new Kaku appearance and ponder what it means. Zoro, however, leaves the ship’s protection in the hands of Brook to engage in combat with Kaku, claiming that he has had enough of fighting strange-looking animals in Wano. Whenever Vegapunk is released, Lucci orders the Seraphim to assault the Lab phase. Mihawk’s Seraphim are slashing the upper Labphase, while Jimbei’s, Kuma’s, and Boa’s Seraphim fire projectile weapons. Kaku is relieved that the Seraphims have joined their cause and is confident that they can accomplish their purpose with the angels’ assistance. But Stussy approaches Kaku and bites him on the neck, causing him to nod off.
Lucci is taken aback by Stussy’s assault on Kaky and questions her motivations. Stussy claims that she has just put Lucci to sleep, and she requests that Lucci do the same. The last panel reveals her true identity as well, stating that he is a clone of Buckhingam Stussy, a member of the Rocks pirates’ crew. When it comes to the Mads cloning project, Stussy is the first success. Currently, Buckingham is claiming to be Weevil’s mother. The next episode of One Piece will reveal whether or not Stussy is the unknown benefactor sought by Vegapunk. Since she clearly isn’t that person, we’re left wondering what her motivations may be. Let’s hold off a week for the release of One Piece Chapter 1073.
