Spoilers for One Piece chapter 1072 have been revealed this week, revealing a wealth of previously unknown facts. One specific CP0 agent received a lot of attention in the raw scans, descriptions, and spoilers. The spoilers focused mostly on Stussy, who was shown to be the first successful clone generated by MADS and who finally showed off her Devil Fruit powers. As a result of Oda’s latest revelation, some have hypothesised that Stussy is a copy of Miss Bakkin and a descendant of Weevil, who calls himself Whitebeard’s son. The fans have finally caught on to Oda’s clever writing, which has been dropping hints about Stussy’s true identity since the first chapter.
Hints that Stussy is a counterpart of Bakkin and Whitebeard’s lover are dropped in Chapter 1072 of One Piece. Raw images from One Piece chapter 1072 show Zoro engaging an awoken Kaku in battle. During this time, Lucci had ordered the Seraphims to wipe out the whole Lab Stratum. In the midst of all this chaos, we witnessed an unknown intruder bite Kaku in the back, easily knocking him unconscious. It became out that Stussy was the one behind the attack. In addition to being the first successful cloning experiment conducted by MADS, No. 1 “Stussy” was a member of The Rocks Pirates’ crew and a clone of Buckingham Stussy. Fans widely believe Stussy to be the mysterious ally that assisted Dr Vegapunk and the Straw Hats in their daring escape from Egghead island at the end of the previous chapter. Scans also show that Stussy possesses the Devil Fruit Batto Batto no Mi, Model: Vampire, which is of the Mythical Zoan variety and gives its user supernatural abilities.
The idea that Stussy is a carbon copy of Miss Bakkin has gained traction among the various speculations floating about. Miss Bakkin was presented to the audience as Weevil’s mom, a former pirate chief who claims to be in love with Whitebeard. When asked if Miss Bakkin was a member of Whitebeard’s gang, Marco had already said she wasn’t. This notion, however, posits that they could have worked together as Rocks Pirates. Because Oda often gives his female One Piece characters an extremely bad case of ageing, she may have looked like Stussy when they were younger, which is likely what piqued Whitebeard’s attention. Given that MADS’s initial cloning effort with Stussy was successful, it’s possible that Weevil is a flawed Whitebeard clone that the company produced in the past. Miss Bakkin’s surname is quite similar to the name Stussy.
Some of her fans think that Miss Buckingham Stussy is shortened to Miss Bakkin or Buckin. With Oda’s penchant for creating character clones (see: Seraphims, Vegapunk), it would not be shocking to learn that Stussy is actually a carbon copy of Miss Bakkin. Oda did a fantastic job setting up Stussy’s arc in the earlier chapters. As early as Chapter 860, she is shown enjoying a glass of Giraffe Juice. Something of significance, which was reiterated in Chapter 1072 when she drank Kaku’s blood. Stussy’s supporters believe she betrayed the CP0 and joined the ranks of the World Government’s enemies since she is the fifth member of MADS. Maybe she’s Vegapunk’s secret ally from the last chapter, and she’ll be crucial in getting the Straw Hats and Vegapunk off Egghead Island.
