Summary of Boruto Episode 283
At the beginning of the episode, Sasuke is being hounded by jail guards, most likely on Zansul’s orders for attacking Meno. After some time, another inmate named Ganno reveals to him that there is a cellar beneath Zansul’s bed. Sasuke escapes from his jail at night in search of a cure, but upon leaving, he runs across Meno again. In this version, Meno’s poisoned claws scratch Sasuke, weakening him. Sasuke, however, avoids him, and the new nurse quickly locates him. Sasuke reveals his findings to the new nurse, who is actually Sakura in disguise, discussing his discovery of the Sage of Six Paths book and the treatment of Ultra Particles. Ultra Particles, however, are not easily located because they can only be retrieved with the use of the Map of the Heavens.
A fellow inmate called Jiji overhears them and figures out that they’re married. He assures them he won’t tell anybody and provides information on Penzila, another inmate who may be able to assist them in finding the map. According to Penzila, Zansul’s approval is needed to access the basement, where the map is thought to be hidden. A wager with Penzula nets him the key, and Sasuke and Sakura get access to the reading room. Aside from the Nine-Tailed Beast and Ten-Tails, the architect of the structure is also shown. But because they have no idea how it may help them in their quest, they decide to look into Zansul’s workplace more closely. At the conclusion, we see a prisoner listening in on their plot.
