The release of Blue Lock Chapter 203 was eagerly anticipated. Despite several interruptions caused by the passing of one year and the beginning of another, the Bastard Munich match continued. But through it all, Isagi picked up a new skill that improved his eyesight to the point that he could manipulate people in whatever he pleased. However, he recognised that Sae Itoshi and Kaiser were the first two people he had seen with this ability, and that he was the third. In addition, the meta vision’s physical effects were unlike anything else Isagi had experienced.
Nonetheless, he persisted to the very end, stopping the goal of the world’s No. 2 player. Afterward, he made progress toward his objective, only to have Kaise interrupt him. Although he had his doubts about Isagi, Kaiser was certain that victory was at his (foot) after Yukimiya scored off an assist from Isagi. Nonetheless, Kaiser was no longer seeing him as a mere NPC, and before he could elaborate, Isagi passed out.

Now that the match is done, the pace of Blue Lock Chapter 204 will slow down considerably from the nail-biter of the previous chapters. This time, it’s Isagi who comes out on top. But instead of the bright-eyed, good-hearted hero we had recalled, he turned out to be a shadowy figure who is an egoist in the purest meaning of the word. But because of him, Isagi was able to catch up to his new teammates and secure his role as the team’s star player for the Noa. However, Isagi was a national celebrity at the time, and Bachira’s squad and Kaiser quickly dethroned him from the top of the sport.

Since the last chapter didn’t make us wish there were more panels, we may expect Blue Lock Chapter 204 to be humorous. After resting, Isagi will evaluate his options for continuing to use Meta Vision. It was his first attempt to use the new skill against other people, and it was the only thing he picked up from Blue Lock V2.0. New members of his squad, both allies and foes, will be thinking independently, so there will be much going on.
